this was their show samurai. I loved their performance that year but im a die hard regiment fan and was so happy they won that year. The highlights of the entire contest was the killing of the drum major in phantom and the matrix mellophone in the cavies.

Mannn, the tuning of those snares are so orgasmic LOL I love how they sound.
@nowayjose2013 жыл бұрын
@rockstarduh5 It's not actually A#, C#, F, G#, B. They don't tune to specific notes, they just tune the intervals starting at the bottom and working their way up to spock. They tune to the intervals of minor third between drums 4 and 3, a major third between drums 3 and 2, a minor third between drums 2 and 1, and then another minor third between drums 1 and spock.

CLEAN! and does anybody know what matellts/sticks the tenors use?!?!? reply to me please
@rockstarduh514 жыл бұрын
@xXW4RH3ROXx A guy I know on Cavies tenor line told me these are the notes they tune the tenors to- A#, C#, F, G#, B from drum 4 up to spock. They also tune before every rehearsal block and before lots. Also they do a full head change 2 days before every regional. Hope that helps!

The Cavies have always had a tradition of decorating the unexposed section of their carriers. The bottam is black and the top is decided by the players. They have been doing this since 1992 when they began using XL fiberglass vest carriers.
@tapbamtap16 жыл бұрын
so the beginning of that solo tenor lick is definitely in our book this year written by alan millerim thinking maybe he liked that part?
