Love it ...just finished eating some butternut squash, sage , garlic, butter and red pepper Pasta with parmesan... That was fabulous and I loved the sage so much I wanted another recipe. That was very interesting to learn about the water tasting like the sea. I'll definitely be doing that. .😃

Michael Symon is a James Beard Award winner, owns more than 4 critically acclaimed restaurants in the US, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, and has the best win/loss record on the competition show Iron Chef America (which has the word 'chef' in the title). You can use butter to make Alfredo, heavy cream is what you use to make butter the only thing missing is the liquid cream removed from it. but give me a break on putting the salt in the water.

As an Italian born in Italy he's 100% right, the water should taste like the sea. NEVER put oil in the water. EVER.
