CAYMAN OVER AXLE PIPE (OAP) SOUL PERFORMANCE INSTALL

I’m here at the shop to install the Soul Performance competition over axle pipes on my friend’s Cayman 718 GT4. Stay until the end for some drive-by sound clips.
Jason the technician to install the Soul over axle pipes, Jason is going to walk us through the process of removing the stock set up and installing the Soul OAP.

Those wheels do look great. Alan for them at Forgeline wheels. Had them on his carmine red 2015 GT4. Looked fantastic.

In the car with the windows up there was zero drone. The Soul OAPs add a nice change in tone and volume. Easy to live with around the neighborhood and fun on the back roads when you’re exercising the car. If you’re not happy with the stock sound of your 718 this is an excellent mod. Install time was a little over an hour. Next up the Soul rear muffler.

Great to hear. Thanks for watching. Spoke to Alan yesterday and he is really enjoying it. We’ll be adding the Soul center muffler in a few weeks. Are you thinking of doing that?

I noticed that the Soul OAPs do not have heat shielding like the stock pipes.

That is correct. No shielding. I am aware that both Soul and Dundon exhausts don’t have shields. Both have said it isn’t an issue. My GT3 RS stock headers and sides muffler doesn’t either.
