First and foremost, I had not listened to Neko's music up until yesterday. It was from a live performance of the Last Lion of Abion that bit into me. After listening to Neko sharing about her experiencies with numerous women music producers/composers (KD Lang is an exceptional artist) as well as about her experiences with artists in Sweden, I am in a complete state of awe of what she has done. 🌻

I admire Neko Case’s bravery and intuition to try new things in service to a song and to not rely on past experiences or formulas. That is why each record she releases is a treasure.

Love Neko Case so much. This guy did a pretty cheap thing playing that clip at the beginning. She was clearly a bit upset, and had every right to be!

Agree. He should have warned, okayed it with her. She did a great job answering and keeping her cool.

That was awesome! I am now going back through the pandemic and non pandemic years reliving this music again, just like it's brand new, and Neko Case is just wonderful to listen to chatting or singing. I have just loved her since she was that 20 year old girl giving the first intervie on cbc.

This is the stuff life is made of. Ms Case offers a compelling view of human nature. I'm grateful that she took the time to pay attention, even though she may have felt that she was forced to. Mid-life depression is a painful gift, as though our guardian angle blows the whistle and says "Stop for a few years and have a good long look." This interview gets the "People we'd love to sit around and talk with" seal of approval.

What a horrible way to start an interview. I don’t like the interviewer is doing and his line of questioning and retorts are strange.

I wholeheartedly do not condone the harmful acts that Jian Ghomeshi was accused of. With that said, Jian was CBC Q's best interviewer. Since Jian was fired in 2014, it has been difficult to listen to Q for the reasons that you have shared. 🌻

Well this is one helluva gross comment. And I'm sure it's coming from an absolute looker, too. She's almost 50. I think she's allowed to not look like a 20-yr-old. Grow up, bridge troll.

She is 48 years old, I think she looks beautiful and btw - why is a puppy being so Judgemental?....oh wait a minute, that’s not your photo? Did you really take time out of your day to intentionally put out negativity in the world? You poor, poor thing.

@@DarlingMissDarling He’s right though, she looks bedraggled, a little time off would do wonders. Maybe her soul is externalizing.
