Update on the new sight install and what I have found out about it.

Good video. I think il have to go with black gold duel vertical sights. The middle pin being non adjustable bothers me and the blockage of the lower pin will do me no good out west.

Once you get sighted in with the middle pin it becomes a non issue. On the pin gap issue I had, keep in mind I was shooting a pretty slow speed out of the bow and I think most hunting setups will not have that issue. I just covered it because I was using an old target now of mine for a hunting bow and that was something I ran into with it. I’m now shooting 285fps with it and don’t have that pin issue.

Just a thought, if you move your sight in closer to the bow you probably wouldn’t have had to get new limbs correct?

@@Rustingraham1 That is correct. I could have slid the sight in closer and adjusted to a bigger peep sight, and wouldnt have needed the heavier limbs. I knew I wanted to go ahead and get 70# limbs to turn this into a hunting bow anyways, so it just seemed like the right move for me.

How heavy is your arrow setup? I shoot a Hoyt ventum pro, 65lbs with a 450 grain arrow and would like to avoid the issue you had with the bottom pin

The way to avoid the issue without changing limbs is to put the bottom pin low but not below the base like he shows. THEN you adjust your GANG adjustment fist. Micro adjust shout not be your first move.
