Chad, a "twin compound setup" is not what you are describing. These diesel trucks are running compound turbos. A twin compound wound be dual compounds, meaning, two independent compound setups or four turbos. Compound meaning, one turbo feeds a second turbo. Twin turbo means two turbos share one (or two) exhaust manifold (s) separately. Wait! Did I just satisfy your request for more post? Dang Chad! Your good bro, lol!

Wrong, twin compound is correct. They're the same size turbos, therefore they're twins. You are describing a "dual compound" setup with 4 turbos

@@soflojit Do your research. If two turbos are sharing exhaust and compressed air from each other, from a single manifold, this is compounding, regardless of the turbo size. Twin turbos are parallel and only combine on the compressor side at the intake. If you call a shop in the US and ask for twin compounds, you'll get 4 turbos. Twin triple compounds, you'll get 6!

It's not very easy to find top fuel nhra like dragsters anywhere outside of the US. I've watched drags on 5 continents :) But it's cool for what it is, dragster chassis with unconventional engines are fun. Air and traction in Asia is horrible for really fast stuff.

I was racing a TR6 in SCCA in the early '80's, and we decided to build a drag car. During a test and tune session in Epping NH I went high 7's ,and got kicked off the track. The cars safety equipment was not set up for that speed. These racers over there are building some incredible vehicles.

Your videos are always cool. It's great to see motorsports in another flavor overseas as a North American.
