Can I come? My mothers family is Jewish from Boston but married a Protestant in California and we did not practice any religion at home. My mom is 99%Ashkanazi by DNA but I am only 50%, I would like to learn more, because everytime I meet someone else of Jewish decent it feels like meeting a family member. I am older though, I dont know if older people are welcome? Are there any Jewish immersian programs for older adults? I am beyond the age of marriage and family. I have a graduate degree but not much money as I am a scholar who exists on research fellowships.
