CBS Ghosts but only when Crash is on screen

Since we finally got the return of Crash to Woodstone in the most recent episode (Ghost Father of the Bride), I figured I would make a quick compilation of Crash :) He's super underrated and I hope he appears in more episodes :)

Man, imagine how serious and bizarre was the way Crash died, it's already more than obvious that he's a Greaser, probably from the golden age of the movement back in the 50s, and considering that everyone calls him Crash, he probably died in some horrible motorcycle or car accident to the point where he was decapitated, seriously the writers need to make an EP Focused on Crash

Since he died on the property, he likely was driving through very loudly at night regularly and annoyed the neighbors, so one of them probably set up a booby trap, a wire across the road at neck level. Pranks like that were really common back then. Albeit, most of the time such pranks the intention wasnt to kill anyone, but to damage some random persons vehicle. Filling lightweight containers often thrown from car windows with concrete and sticking them in the road was a common one in the area I live, my dad would do it when he was a teen. People would run them over thinking it was just another random piece of trash, but instead destroy a wheel or the underside of their vehicle. Actually, I think my dad told me one time he had strung up a wire across the road once, they thought a friend of theirs would be the next to drive through and they wanted to damage his car, but were surprised was a stranger on a dirt bike was the next to drive through and hit it. Luckily for them, the guy only crashed with mild injuries, if they had set the trap a few inches higher it could have got him in the neck and likely have killed him. Anyways, it was probably a wiretrap set up specifically to target Crash, but that's just the theory I've had since the first moment I ever saw him in the first episode.

Just came up with a funny episode premise based around Crash's different actors. One episode, Sam notices Crash looks and is acting different. He dismisses her suspicions. But later, Sam and the ghosts discover his entire greaser gang, all beheaded after a rather gruesome fight. It's revealed that the ghosts been putting different people's heads on the body. They just haven't noticed because greasers all dress the same, also maybe that the gang all wanted to be nicknamed Crash. Midway, the greasers start fighting on who'll be in charge, the "head" of the gang. Of course, this is mostly through 50s insults. In the end, they agree to taking turns and giving the remaining heads a room to hang out. It would certainly bring some intrigue to the character and be a good opportunity for guest stars.

Personally, I think the show should have done something similar to the BBC series where Crash's body appears walking in the background for a few seconds every 2nd or 3nd episode rather then kind of just forgetting about him for most of Season 1 & Season 2. Also, in case anyone is curious, there are 8 Main Ghosts (Thorfinn, Sasappis, Isaac, Hetty, Alberta, Flower, Pete, & Trevor), & at least a dozen Minor Ghosts (Nygel & 2 British soldiers, Nancy & at least 5 Cholera victims, Elias, Molly, Crash, Stephanie, & Jessica) that currently or formally haunt the mansion the series takes place at.

His original actor (Hudson Thame?) got too busy and had scheduling conflict. They recast him with the guy from that Ben Platt musical (why am I forgetting the title). But Crash was already kept in the dark too long to even matter.

Omg! In episode 20 season 2, literally the whole time Jay and Sam were talking about who Stephanie could couple up with, I was SCREAMING crash. It felt like such a tease when Jay talked about a young boy ‘CRASHING’ a car onto their property-

The most logical reason for his death is that whoever the current owner of the mansion was somehow pissed off Crash and other Greasers, by making him suffer financially or something Which him caused thrm all to get pissed off and drive up to the manor which they began vandalizing the place, but Crash on the other hand wanted to really stock up the rich. So he planned to drive car into the living room and jump out, which he had set up a ramp but the ramp didn't hold making him crash into the foundation The impact caused him to break through his wind shield and into the mansion window causing him to become decapitated.

Humphrey was easily one of my favorite characters in BBC's show. Especially once they really went into his backstory and his personality. I absolutely adore the episode where Robin teaches him French. I am seriously hoping Crash stops being underutilized and they give him at the VERY lease a whole episode dedicated to him! Also side note that is VERY dark: my boyfriend saw what essentially happened to Crash in real life. He was driving home late at night and came across a fresh scene that cops had only JUST arrived to. Motorcyclist hit a tree, it decapitated him and he saw his head which had rolled onto the side of the road, still in its helmet.

Okay so I haven't officially watched any full episodes, clip compilations like these are my own source and so far I thought I had seen the entire cast, and even minor cast, ghosts included. So imagine my surprise to suddenly see this video with clips of him hanging around with the main cast, and the comment section saying he's been a series staple since Episode 1. It was like I was experiencing a some sort of reverse Mandella effect, I felt like the internet was trying to gaslight me with some really good editing to make it seem like their oc was apart of the show but no this is an official character I somehow haven't heard of until, and he's been official since day fucking one, how did I not notice him.

yeah they pretty much just removed this character. At least in the UK version, Sir Humphrey appears in almost every episode in one way or another. No idea why they're treating the US version so poorly
