I find the UK cast has better chemistry (even tho the US cast has great chemistry too) and they feel like they've been living together for hundreds of years but the UK cast has been working together/best friends since 2009. You can't fake that.

I love the British version of Ghosts so much, I was worried I was gonna hate the American version but they did so well with the casting, storylines and characters that it works. I enjoy it very much and can’t wait for the next season. I particularly enjoyed Isaac having his coming out moment + love story with Nigel and hope they do the same for the Captain in the UK version. 🥰🥰

The fact that Danielle didn't begin training as a singer until this role blows my mind. The scenes of her singing sound like she's been doing musical stage performance for years! Clearly she not only worked incredibly hard, but she's also a natural talent.

Actually, arguably the chemistry of the original UK cast is better. These guys do have amazing chemistry, but the guys from the UK version feel like they've actually been living as ghosts with each other for hundreds of years, because they were thrown together on Horrible Histories from 2009-2013, and have been working together and best friends ever since (they did Yonderland, the Shakespeare movie Bill & now Ghosts bc they didnt want to stop working together). You can't fake that level of knowing each other that well.

@@timsamanthony I love the BBC version, original and the best, but Ghosts CBS was surprisingly more-ish - some really interesting takes and decisions and different paths with characters, more focus on one or two storylines per ep because of the shorter running time.

Extremely underrated show. Nowadays, it's so hard to get a good/funny show on network tv - With all the streaming services pretty much taking over. This show could last if done right (and is watched!) because there are endless storylines with it. I really hope it can last 4-5 seasons! I am rooting for it. And Hetty is by far my favorite character.

I just found and finished watching “Ghosts,” and I LOVED it so much really looking forward to season 3 and hopefully many many many more seasons after the strike is over. Also I find it really strange hearing Sam and Thor’s actors not sound the way they do in the show 😅 Also my favorite character is Flower, she’s so pretty and silly; aside from the drug and hippy-related stuff tied to her character I really resonate with her and always forgetting things 😂

It's so funny because my son's name is Oskar. His father, a Norwegian, insisted on the spelling.
