That was a Hit piece, Coach Prime did very good for a first-year Program coach. Most of the loses were by one score. Mr. Smart has mostly five-star players. If you gave Georgia five-star roster to any of those 65 coaches, most of them would manage 10 wins or more.

When you win, you get ranked higher. The problem is 2 and his son's talk like they playoff contenders, yet haven't accomplished anything. When they can win games (not Twitter fights), they will get the respect they deserve. Right now the perception is that they use empty talk to distract from the fact that they are irrelevant on the field. I'm not saying they can't become relevant, but they are not there.

Those schools get top recruits off their name alone, whoever is coaching there is secondary in importance and will develop a decent career by being associated with the school. The fact that coach Prime improved at all, shows he is doing something right. You don't build a house from the dirt overnight, not if you want one that lasts.

@nubianq333 Actually, that is a deceptive trick you are trying to play. In his full last season, the prior head coach at Colorado was also 4-8. In his first season, which was the covid season, he was 4-2. In the 2022 season, he only coached 5 games and was fired after going 0-5. As of today, his winning percentage is still better than Deion Sanders. So, your assessment doesn't provide a full picture. Just the one you want to highlight. Which, in my opinion, is deceptive.

The former coach not only had tenure in the CU system, but additionally had the option/time to select his OWN FULL player roster years before the season began. Prime inherited, with rare exception. the former coach’s team roster, and their lack of allegiance to a new coach. A legitimate comparative deduction requires similar information under the exact same circumstances.
