If I had the money , I would buy at least 10 acres of forest land. My house would be built of three feet thick concrete. With a fire proof roof. Made of concrete and steel . Fire can not burn comcrete. The house would also have a 50 deep tunnel that is surrounded by a cylander made of concrete and steel. The cocrete and steel tunnel would go all the way to a lake. This is for a emergency evacuation to find breathable air. The house would be solar powered . The house would have a highly techological venting to turn filthy burning oxygen air into breathable air. The same system that a Navy submarine uses under water. So a separate area of the house would have a tank of water to convert water into breatable air. The house would not have any thing that could feed a fire. No wood frames. No plastic. Only concrete , brick and steel. Its stupid to keep building a wood house in a forest. That would be even hard to get home owners insurance on. So have a house made of three feet thick concrete and steel. This type of house can not burn. However, during the fire it might be safer to leave your house for a couple weeks due to poor quality of breathable clean air to breath. When you come back forest trees around your house might be burned down. This will just save you money from having to cut these trees down. The good news is your concrete and steel house will still be standing. Plus your built in concrete and steel built in pool will still be threre. With twenty feet tall walls. What else could you want. Let others cry and rebuild when your Concrete and Steel fire proof house can last through any forest fire.

Wind, power lines & dry vegetation doesn't mix well either. Sdge sometimes cuts power off completely in San Diego County to reduce 🔥 risk when the Santa Ana winds get going. Lived in SoCal for 45yrs. It's definitely not the earthquakes ppl need to prepare for, it's the FIRES!

From 1983 to present day, the fires have only gotten bigger and more costly in acreage, economically, and in lives; on what now is the left coast of America. What did we do when the right coast of America was in charge? That would be 'Forest Management.' However, FOREST MANAGEMENT would mean less GREEN HOUSE GASSES being released into the air.
