OK SO I LITERALLY JUST FRICKIN MET HER AND SHE IS SO FUNNY AND RAW AND SWEET AND JUST UGH I LOVE HER. No but seriously, she told stories about her own rascist experience and it was so amazing. Bro I love her. Edit: she also rapped and it was so dope and amazing. It was the rap when Bri battles Miles and she’s amazing.

What an amazing author. I haven't even finished On the come up yet and I'm already dying to put my hands on her next novel, Concrete rose. This girl has it.

The way to go Angie Thomas, “On The Come Up,” creates your own narrative with your material culture. Get the lion’s share of the cultural production . Angie you are “On The Come Up,” a metaphor suggests the dichotomy, of a novel/bio , your voice, Hip hop culture. Truly, you hit a star
