I don't know what other schools this applies to, but when I was in seventh grade, they had us watch the _Roots_ miniseries. I find myself wondering if it might be a good idea, whenever one's history class starts to cover the Civil War, to have the students read _Uncle Tom's Cabin._ This book has language that could be described as offensive, but it played an instrumental part in bringing this war about.

I am so glad she had a door for her to open. I've written 7 books and I've been inspired by her. My 8th book is about sex trafficking and the negative impact of mega churches and their support of people who harm children. We think it's only the Catholic church, but black churches put their pastors on a pedestal and worship them as if they can save them like Jesus or have the presence of God. Those are the stories we dont hear about. I hope she continues to succeed.

There is nothing more beneficial, physically, mentally and spiritually for mother and infant baby, toddler young child then breastmilk! The body does not break down or absorb any type of nutrition until it is body temperature! Breastmilk is always body temperature. Another reason is so beneficial is the infant newborn just spent nine months or so inside the mother's womb! It is quite cozy warm in there, the baby is surrounded by mothers body temperature plus its own developing body temperature. So by breast-feeding you are allowing the infant baby to still get some of the mothers body temperature by being pressed up closely to the body! This helps the infant, baby, newborn to adjust and adapt very effectively from being inside the mothers womb to being on the outside. The list of benefits is complex however if you stick to the fundamentals of life will experience all those benefits, subconsciously, conscious, coherently, physically ,mentally, spiritually and systematically in the most efficient way that is possible. With all the benefits! You would think Trump would support women's right to breast feed ,130 countries just signed an agreement that is going to encourage women to breast-feed. Marijuana has been proven to have more benefits and less side effects than all pharmaceutical drugs combined. Think about how many times the cops get called to a violent domestic dispute that is alcohol related. Think about how many overdose cases occur each and every day all year long none of the marijuana related. This is something I will never understand about the US. The school literature seems to barely engage with uncomfortable events from past and present. At least half of the books I had to read in school engaged topics like WWI, WWII, Antisemitism, Hitler's rise to power etc. Always written by people who were actually there during that time and could see what was going on (for example Hermann Hesse or Günter Grass). I really do not see that value in not talking about this stuff.
