Thanks for the years of "stories." Being a person who grew up watching Charles Kuralt, then seeing you and also just about every Bob Phillips' "Texas Country Reporter" (even in its early years as "4 Country Reporter" on the Dallas, TX CBS affiliate these are my stories. No matter how bad the news would be, these stories about people like me always warmed my heart and my thoughts. The best thing for this ailing world is simple kindness.

I am so happy to see the On the Road segments and the kindness101 sessions online. I am 80 years old and I enjoy these as much as if I was 8! We are very fortunate to have a superb sports announcer at the Univ. of Washington - Elise Woodward. Always good to hear her announcing and interviewing the coaches and players. And Mr. Brown, I wish the schools that I taught at before I retired would emulate your idea. I suggested it to my former colleagues two years ago when the pandemic hit....
