His duet with B.B. KING WAS the stuff that legends were made of...I want it played at my funeral..

Previous month I was able to gather my first five figure paycheck ever!!! I've been working for this provider on the internet for 2 years now and I never been happier... They are paying me $95 per hour, and the best thing regarding this is the fact I am not really that tech-savvy, they just required standard knowledge about internet and plain typing skill...Great thing about it is that I have more time for my family. I am able to devote quality time with my friends and family and take care of my babies and also going on vacation along with them very often. Don't miss this chance and make sure to act fast. Check it out, what I do... *grab26.com*

@Demiclea Do you realize that he is a musician writer and singer?
@4014Thugsy5 жыл бұрын
@Demiclea You obviously don't know who he was or you wouldn't have said that. He wanted nothing to do with war. So you are basically dishonoring someone you dont know, a day after they passed away. When you pass away may people acknowledge who you are as a human, are these the kind of words you wish to be remembered by? Because Doctor John was a great human being. So shame on you.
@4014Thugsy5 жыл бұрын
@Demiclea People around the world will miss him. Dont dismiss them. Those folks that you are arguing with are not talking about Doctor John. They dont matter in this situation. I encourage you to talk well of the recently passed.

Sad to hear this. Louis Armstrong, Professor Longhair, Allen Toussaint, Dr. John, etc. These cats were the _embodiment_ of New Orleans music. If any of you haven't checked out the cut Doc did with Dan Auerbach, do so. It's well worth a listen. "My children, my angels, talkin' to you..."

Eternity will not be about any of us or what we have done. It will about be about Jesus Christ who died on a cross to save us from our sins. Ephesians 2:8-9 8 For by Gods grace are we saved through faith; not by works, ( or being a fire fighter or law enforcement or a hero or a veteran or actor or a soul singer or a super pop star or making people laugh, or making people happy or never killing anyone) 9 it is the free gift of God, not that anyone can boast of their salvation."

I recall hearing "Dr. John the Night Tripper" on '60s radio. In the '90s I got to hear him live at a jazz club in El Cerrito (I think it was--near Berkeley), and loved him! I didn't think of him as a rock-and-roll performer, but as someone who exactly straddled the line between funky jazz and R & B. Blessings on him.
