Elections in India is carried out by Election commission which is independent from government unlike in USA where local bodies are responsible. gerrymandering in India which is called delimitation are decided by an independent body instead of state government like in USA. There are rules in India where it is mandated to have voting facilities within walkable distance of any voters in contrast to distance in USA where it is impractical to go to voting place unless one has a motor transportation.

Why do you say so. I hear every body say the india cant become a superpower but never had them say a valuable explanation. I mean we certainly have the manpower. We have the economy to back that. We have the worlds 4th strongest military behind USA Russia china, we have overtaken our colonizers. We have the 5th largest economy with the fastest growing rate. Very influential, young average age, nuclear triad capable, 2 air craft carriers. Rising space power, booming space agency, country rising from poverty very fast too. Getting modernized at a fast rate. Soon will overtake Germany as the 4th largest economy as predicted by experts. Idk dude I dont see why India is not a superpower I mean when Britain was behind China as the 4th largest military it was a superpower when India assumed position they are like na. it gave me a big shock when i traveled in India, I visited so many countries in Asia , America etc . Never before one country has so strong desire to be "super power " . Not only IT, EC, CBI, got compromised by Modi but also judiciary. Never in d history of India, judges of SC came public @ told " Democracy is under attack". I am not a Modi hater as I also voted for Modi in 2014. But Modi has got big mouth only. All his priorities are towards corporates only. Our great country is not a capitalist country.
