@@Lets-rideUk - amazing Richard - first time on a bike for 35 years, loved it..took their 125 out in the afternoon around Worthing for 2 hours and then when finished CBT I got to do some manoeuvres on the Z650 that I'll be doing my weeks training on ( in fact I found that easier to control ) - going to be a hot intense but enjoyable week before Mod 1 and 2 both on the scorchio Friday we have coming - thanks for asking Richard

ps. I only found out when I got home that my Harvelssons trousers have removable lining - no wonder I was so hot 🙂

Do you have any tips to stay calm on yiur cbt?

It's designed for 1st time riders so nothing to worry about. Plus it's training, not a test. Good luck!

Hi, can you just clarify how often you check your mirrors - I thought it was 5-8seconds for car drivers - for motorcyclists is it different? You say 15-20 seconds.. Unless you see a hazard sooner.

The majority of the danger is ahead of you, so you don't really want to take your eyes off the road if you can help it. When it's safe to, we advise checking mirrors every 15-20 seconds. It's not a hard and fast rule though - you can check more frequently if you want to. 😊👍
