In this demonstration, Dr. Nina Josefowitz covers how to use the Downward Arrow Technique to uncover beliefs that underlie negative automatic thoughts. The Downward Arrow Technique is one of the approaches used to identify core beliefs. In this demonstration Dr. Josefowitz shows how the Downward Arrow Technique can be used to uncover beliefs that are below the surface, but not as deep as the core belief level.
