Matthew Hammel first of all, that doesn’t even make sense. Second of all, men are physically stronger than women so it would be unfair. It’s like swimming, girls compete with girls, guys compete with guys. that’s why they are on different teams.

Both teams played amazing. I think Wayzata was never able to recover fully from the 13 unanswered points after the half. Turnovers also played a big factor for Wayzata and being unable to get big stops. Both teams are very well disciplined on the offensive end of the floor.Would’ve loved to see Wayzata run more plays for 3’s off of screens, girls really know how to get feet set. Great effort by both teams!

Paige is very talented. She missrd a few shots but most of it done seems effortless. I'm impressed with wayzata. They came in big. Jenna johnson came in big for her team. Everytime paige did something, jenna just get her team back in. Impressive game.

Mara Braun can play. She's a D1 talent. However, Page B. has so much more experience and has a complete bag of point guard tricks. Braun kept her team in the game, but Page got her team the win with her clever passing & solid shooting.

At 57 minutes into the game, Waysata woke up ten points behind even though they were playing championship caliber basketball. All it took was Aguara & Contraras to step up for Hopkins and give Page Bueckers someone else to pass to besides Najii & Woodson. For a few minutes, Braun, Johnson, & Stewart lost their hot hand and opened the door for a five minute Hopkins fire hose of points. Three All State, D1 Level, players from Waysata could not stop a five girl team of all state, D1/D2 players. A season of excellent Hopkins coaching avalanched one game of great coaching. Relentless pressure, smart assists, and great shooting knocked out a wonderful trio: just look at the face of "White bread" Moira Braun after she realized she'd been "Hopkinsed". She couldn't believe that her best & her trios finest wasn't good enough against Paige and her "Ghetto Gangstas". And Geno saw it all. What wouldn't he give to have both Bueckers and Stewart?
