I love the IT Park. It's clean, fresh, green and safe place to hang around. There are many places to roam around for leisurely stroll.

Foreigners feel the same. I’ve noticed that many are now confident walking around in areas that were not frequently visited by them years ago. ♥️

I lived in IT Park for about a year and a half… It’s really not that great. I’ve worked in cybersecurity and tech for 15 years and I was extremely disappointed to find out that there is no actual “IT” in IT Park. Just a bunch of call centers used by foreign companies because Filipinos speak English a little better than Indians. No innovation here whatsoever. For some reason, the people in Cebu absolutely refuse to take care of their environment. There are broken flower beds all over. The pyramid is STILL sitting there abandoned. I saw a guy peeing on the border wall during the construction of 38 Park Avenue, probably the nicest new condo there. Middle of the day… Traffic and people going by like nothing was happening. The Central Bloc mall is quite bad. Quite a few empty spaces. The Metro below has rotten produce and an extremely limited selection. It was always worth the trip to go to Business Park to shop. Much of the food in IT Park is very low quality. Steve’s Lechon in Sugbo is amazing though and so is Yukga, the Korean restaurant in the center of IT Park. I miss both of those. Large transportation hub means lots of noise around that area. As you can see in the video, the sidewalks aren’t even maintained well. I was frequently woken up by, what I’m assuming was, a school band starting their practice at 4am. No regard for anyone’s peace. I moved to BGC and don’t regret it for a second. There is no comparison. I am waiting for my condo to be built at Mandani Bay, so I’ll be back to Cebu eventually. Hopefully that area is actually maintained and people take care of grounds,

Hoping Cebu City will use it as a template to improve the whole city and will start planting trees and ornamental plants on the sidewalks outside the business parks. Then the other mayors of our country will get inspired and implement the same in their own cities ♥️ 🙏
