I never ever tear a page in my sketchbooks. I like to keep them so I can track how much my art evolves.

Cecile , it's always wonderful to flip through a sketchbook.. I find it to be the most helpful habit that I've kept , and also am constantly amazed at how I can remember the day I sketched something from years ago.. Loved this, Cecile ! I sketched you when you were on Sketchbook Revival with Karen Abend a couple of days ago. I just went for it without thinking, just to see what would happen with a fine liner black pen ….No preparation or measurements….in my lined notebook. I then added some colour with some staedtler pigment pens and coloured pencils. It has inspired me to practice more and improve my skills sketching portraits as I really love your art style with portraits. I am going to take a look at your website to see what courses you offer. 🤗🤗

It depends. It can be just holding in my left hand while I draw. Or resting on any thing around me. It's very small, so easy to handle.
