Hello Cecilia. Greetings from the Philippines. I just recently stumbled upon your vlog and I am really fascinated to learn about your daily life in the beautiful, wintery paradise of Svalbard. Every video the landscape is breathtaking. Polar bears have been my favourite animal since I was 3 years old. I have many pictures and stuff polar bears around the inside of my house. My dream vacation is to take a trip to see them one of these days. Cheers 🇨🇦

So lucky that I found your channel, it gives me the opportunity to follow a little bit on what`s going on at this impressing location. I´ve been there with my wife in June 2019. Did some dog sledding on Foxfonna glacier , kayaking to and hiking at Hiorthhamn and had a walk through Bjorndalen with a guide ;-)). It all was topped by a 5 days cruise with Hurtigrutens MS Nordstjernen to Barentsburg, Pyramiden and so many arctic glaciers and fjords and fortunately polar bear observations as well. We will come back for sure sometime in March to have the colours of the pastel winter. Enjoy your life and the different seasons up there !

Every time I see your water view, it reminds me of my dad who recently passed away. He had waterfront home in the state of Delaware and you could just look out and see the bay. Love your videos. My wife and I visited Svalbard 2 years ago. We took a 16 hour snowmobile excursion to glacier. We got lucky and saw a Polar Bear on the ice. We stayed at the Funken Lodge. Great place. Svalbard is beautiful and we plan on returning again.

I recently found and subscribed to your channel and I love your videos so much! The landscape is breathtaking and the way you film and edit your videos makes them so enjoyable to watch. You guys did an amazing job on the cabin extension, it’s so cozy and the VIEW omg 😍 I live in Canada and once it gets below 10C I lose all interest in going outside lol but you make winter and the polar night seem so appealing. I think what really makes your videos stand out though is that they’re not only about consumption (I do seek out and enjoy that sort of content, so no hate to anyone). I just find it very refreshing to see your videos because whether intentional or not, there seems to be more of an emphasis on being happy with what you have and where you are, as well as sharing what it’s like to live in such a unique and beautiful place. Oh and Grim is probably the cutest dog I’ve ever seen!!

I'm an very curious about that too! I used to watch this guy that was a tattoo artist lives in Australia and he has like a I think Alaskan Malamute or maybe it's a husky but it really looks miserable living in such heat. Seems like borderline abuse, certain dogs shouldn't be in certain climates you know I understand everybody doesn't feel that way but it just seems like common sense. But I always wonder like are there cats there where she is because you never see any you know?

Among all your vlogs except Portugal this place you’re in were the best. We just moved to the mountains 🏔 with the elevation 2,134 so far our temperatures goes down to 1 degrees centigrade unlike yours definitely in the negative. We love it here because of the greenery & the beautiful arrays of the blue ridge mountains. So when I watched yours I love looking at the soft white mountains & the northern lights.
