Can’t wait till the videos of the cabin redo! Idea….after watching Christopher grilling….get a grill for the cabin and put in the area outside of the kitchen window….possibly even turn the window into a 2nd door to the outside with the top half being glass. Can’t remember if the decking is in that area….if not build one that connects to the other decking! Create an outdoor grilling/eating space! Just an idea!

I live in the UAE and had to fly to the Netherlands during winter for the first time in almost 14 years. Do not own warm enough clothing so had to do some last second shopping. I was in NL for 5 days and I was SO COLD. I wore 4-5 layers and had to keep the heating at 27Celcius. The complete opposite of you guys😂

Ooooh, shopping with Cecilia! The pop of cobalt blue on the sofa behind Christoffer would make a great accent color for the couch. If you have a local seamstress, consider buying fabric to make pillow covers. What about a trundle bed for the extra room? Possibly a daybed with drawers underneath for more storage? You can also gain space by altering the doors inside the cabin, you can either see if you can just make it open to the opposite side or change them for folding ones. The small room you can order material pre cut exactly to your measurements, also the mattress can be made to order (I bought foam equivalent to mattress and had it cut). Just some thoughts. I live in a extreme environment, our elevation is 10280 feet. Winter is 8 months long, but we get sunshine. Random cold weather prisms or sun dogs appear regularly along with snow devils or mini snow twisters. Everywhere we go is hot and humid when we leave, Ihave to acclimate to the heat and oxygen.
