@@Shakodancer16 90 isn't that bad. I live in Texas. It got up to 110 this past summer. It's usually 90's+ from May/June-October here. You get used to it. We have A/C and lots of pools. I love to swim, so I spend a lot of summer by the pool. It's wonderful! When it's 90, I can still go on walks. It's hot, but bearable. Once it gets into triple digits is really when it feels like you're ensuring 😂. Especially since we have a humid heat here vs a dry heat. Dry heat feels totally different. When you're in the shade with a nice breeze you can handle it. But a humid heat just feels suffocating. Like the air is made out of pea soup 😂. But again that's more in the triple digits. Low 90's is hot, but bearable.

The tilt axis of the planet causes this phenomenon. The Caribbean gets tropical weather all year round, but susceptible to hurricanes. California has great weather, but susceptible to earthquakes. Ghana is hot, humid and sticky, if no air conditioning, this is very uncomfortable. Apparently white Europeans don't like the hot weather because they sweat and sticky. They don't like this feeling

@@laurensanford8629 yes seasonal affective disorder is exactly what I mean. If u suffer from this u can either ask ur doctor about them or Google companies that supply them. They are pretty effective. My cousin sufferers from SAD quite badly and she's complicated by fact her Vitamin D levels are really low and supplements no use to her as she can't absorb nutrients very well as she had a section of her bowels removed years ago and she goes low on several nutrients. You also need to watch ur own diet - my vit D was down to only 11% and only picked up in routine bloods last year. They have no idea why it may be a family trait but I'm now on the right supplements

Hi Cecilia, It is almost 5 pm in Montreal and pitch dark, and it got dark around 4 pm in the afternoon today, and only (4c). We've lost about 4.5 hours of daylight already. We put our tree up and decorated it yesterday !!

I've been looking forward to your polar night all year, I am living vicariously through your positivity lol - living in Canada it is very cold and dark here too (not as dark as there!) but you make me appreciate it so much more. Everyone posts videos of palm trees and beaches, but you make me appreciate our natural climate!! Happy to be here for another polar night 💖

Five years’ ago I moved from sunny Southern California to 1,000 miles north where it’s both much darker in winter *and* grey/gloomy. It’s been a hard challenge half the year, even though I absolutely love it here, and spring/summer is paradise. I’ve started watching your videos to help me feel a little better about this time of year, and… the “medicine” is working 😁🙏😍

I live in Oslo, and about six hours of daylight at the darkest is dark enough for me. I do think I'd feel differently if I lived somewhere more calm and quiet and didn't have a day job, though, because I do love getting up early in the darkness to light my candles and relax when I have days off. It's just the getting up in the dark to go to work part... ugh. :p

People who do not live in subtropical or tropical environments cannot appreciate a place like this. I live in Texas, which has a subtropical environment. That we do have a quick change of seasons, we mostly have hot weather. And it’s excruciatingly bright. This is my idea of heaven. And it helps being a night owl. And I suffer from insomnia, but when it’s gloomy outside, I sleep like a log. This place was made for me. If this place was part of the United States where moving there would be no problem, I start would relocation efforts today.
