I like your concept as it launches backwards first, which I think is most realistic. If it launched forward first, then back and forward again, the ride capacity would tank. Still, would’ve been cool for the 500ft spike, but realistically I don’t think it will happen.

Going backwards is the the most unrealistic option. Most coasters would launch forward first. I don't think it would effect the capacity at all since the switch track after the station

I think those little hills would've been a bit to much, first launch will probably be pretty gentle, and the 2nd and 3th will be the real deal but it does sound nice, without a first forward launch there wouldn't be enough contact with the LSM's to gain enough speed or they would've need to make the backward part a lot longer. Anyway the way it will be gives u a longer ride and with a first launch to adapt a bit and then the real thrill strats to moment u go backwards and that sounds nice imo. They could've done a giant airtime hill in combination with LSM's on it, or on the ending part and definitely would've been nice but also would've cost a lot more of course. About the capacity, LSM are more reliable and can handle more launches an hour in comparison with hydraulic systems so if this ride gets 2 trains so it can load and unload while one is riding it shouldn't be a problem.

Sweet concept but it’s unlikely. Parks as big as Cedar Point need to make sure their rider throughput is high to keep the lines moving. I just can’t see them changing Top Thrill-a ride already known for ridiculously excessive wait times-into something that would take even more time to do track switching, intentional rollbacks, etc. If I had to guess they’re going to turn Top Thrill into a dueling (“racing”) coaster to get more butts in seats based on the current marketing.
