Top Thrill 2 Pit Stop | Episode 5

Welcome to the Top Thrill 2 Pit Stop video series, where we take you "behind the wall" to update you on everything that's happening. Watch as we build the world's tallest & fastest triple-launch strata coaster!
The spike tower is nearing completion, plus there's some movement on site as tech crews are testing and programming the linear synchronous motors and other components for the ride's safety and propulsion systems.
The trains are now on site and in just a short while, they'll be added to the layout for initial testing. We'll bring that to you as soon as it happens!

Yeah it is but I believe it because it wasn't thaaaaat much construction and they've been working on the project for plus or minus a year so far so it makes sense. Just a shame it's the off season. At least we'll know they'll be 100% ready for an opening day opening!

Paint job looks fantastic, looking forward to the spike finishing up. It's daunting realizing how tall it really is when you hit the top of rougaru and you're staring at another coaster that just absolutely dwarfs it

What irks me is that overhead roof looks really close to the track and they are going to slap a 6 foot 2 height maximum that used to be 6 6 and before that never had any height maximums. Whatever protocol they went with, Icor I believe, they need to get rid of them fast

Cedar Fair could/should have done so much more with this "reimagining" starting with a better name. Was no one seriously creative enough to come up with something better than... Top Thrill 2?! Beyond that, they really should have started the launch backwards and added something like an airtime bump in the spike to help with capacity. It was bad before and now it will be even worse. A speed hill would have been nice before going up the top hat as well but again, zero creativity here. Love the colors and the trains but everything else looks like something they gave to a kid to design
