This will 100% be my favorite ride at the park when it opens!! Was upset when they got rid of wicked twister and not a very big fan of gatekeeper. With the way this ride is looking definitely has wicked twister vibes!!

As much as I want intensity and innovation as a coaster nerd, sharing gifts of reliability like LSM enabled launches or companies like B&M to the GP makes me happy and trust that those rides will operate. Given that trade off I’m happy for this to be made and executed.

Based on what was shown today, I have one question - will they be installing a brake at the top of the spike? I'm sure they don't anticipate the cars going all the way to the end of the spike, but it seems like a braking system or some type of stopping mechanism would be installed as a safety measure. I realize they're not completely done with the ride, but based on the visual from the top of the final piece of track, I didn't see anything that would indicate a braking system on that last piece.

It’s really annoying seeing all the comments saying it’s not going to be as good as the original… I’ve never been to cedar point - never been able to justify a trip over there. But next year in June I am going! And I cannot wait!! I really hope it is open by then. From the looks of things it could very well be!! I am so excited :)

Cedar Point tries to have their new attractions for the year open on the first day of the season, which is usually in early to mid May, since they're a seasonal park. It is likely, if not defendant, that the ride will be open by June. 🎢

Looking down that spike! This is going to be better than Dragster. Going to go at least 300 feet up the spike. A 300 foot drop and a 400 foot drop on the same ride....and you don't have to go to the Middle East to ride it.

Cedar Fair could/should have done so much more with this "reimagining" starting with a better name. Was no one seriously creative enough to come up with something better than... Top Thrill 2?! Beyond that, they really should have started the launch backwards and added something like an airtime bump in the spike to help with capacity. It was bad before and now it will be even worse. A speed hill would have been nice before going up the top hat as well but again, zero creativity here. Love the colors and the trains but everything else looks like something they gave to a kid to design
