damn jackson save some interaction for the nadu with a ring
@4znSensationАй бұрын
I'd say the one ring was probably more impactful since it enabled him to draw into the Nadu enablers but definitely the umbral mantle was the straw that broke the camel's back. Crazy how much interaction was thrown at Nadu and still able to pull it out although did get pretty lucky with getting all the standard artifact enablers so high in the deck without tutors.

@@4znSensation that is a great argument for M.V.C.

An unanswered one ring and Nadu. The outcome was as expected

I am impressed that he got three of the 0 equip artifacts in hand so fast, with little draw. I guess he took several mulligans.

I pulled two borderless alt art Nadu from the same pack at pre-release, one was the foil and the other was the rare, and I recently made a commander deck that is card draw and self targeting with Bristly Bill and Dryad Arbor in it and it beat my friend's Ezio (WUBRG one) deck thanks to getting a bunch of +1/+1 counters on Nadu and swinging for well over 21 commander damage in the air, and these are meant to be casual decks

I highly suggest better light exposure to the table to make the image quality more nit

funny story, we accidentally almost started a fire with one of the lights we had on accident and then had to turn it off the rest of the recording session for safety. sorry about that!

Not sending any hate but this game has a drastically different outcome if y’all took any number of opportunities to get rid on the Ibis.“Path to Exile”, should have been pointed at nadu and “Get Lost” should have been pointed at Nadu, and “REB” should have been pointed at Nadu. You lost the game because of the Koll the Forgemaster player and no body tried to politic at all to alter the course of those events. This is the only way Nadu wins is by being left on the board. ( the baby “Cyclonic Rift” should have been pointed at Nadu ). Genuinely a good game but nobody respected the bird and the bird won 😂. Treat that thing like Winona KOS

Not Timna and Kraum, not Rograkh and Silas, my friend. Do you know Nadu?

It’s only a 45 minute turn when someone doesn’t understand the deck and makes them play it out. When there’s 6-8 Nadu triggers and a landfall trigger that makes token creatures it’s over.

In a tournament, they make you play it out. That's the problem I foresee.
@krenarspahiu426128 күн бұрын
I played it in a tournament. Did the nadu thing in like 5 minutes after having a scute Swarm out. The only reason it took longer was people were attempting to stop me. Ended up winning with thassa.

@@collint957 correct. In a tournament, it is correct to make your opponents play it out in hopes they screw up and open a window for you.

I don't think Nadu is problematic in terms of power (it is powerful don't get me wrong), but rather it is problematic due to lengthy, non-deterministic, and repetitive lines of play. It's not just a simic Krark and Sakashima, it can't wiff and just goes up on resources and does so in ways that are hard to punish. I don't think WotC properly tested this card and the lack of safeguards on its ability make it absolutely broken. I'm not a fan of seeing it.

i personally did not have fun playing it, but i do think its very powerful -wyatt

Pathing the Talion imstead of nadu is a WILD bad play, get rid of the maybe value engine instead of the commander that probably wins next turn if it isnt removed, and then blowing interaction on it while im typing this is even crazier
@collint95727 күн бұрын
Jackson is easily the worst player I've ever seen, red blasting a wheel when nadu has been drawing so much WHEN THERE'S STILL A NADU ON BOARD!?!?
@WintuitionMTG27 күн бұрын
@@collint957 so I’m not sure if your familiar with Koll. But Jackson made those plays for good reason. If you refer to his opening hand Jackson had dockside and immolation mask. That is one of the win cons in that deck being able to recast dockside infinitely by sacing him to the mask as lot as he can net enough treasures. So the talion stopped him from attempting to win. He also didn’t want to lose the cards because he knew he had to win asap because of Nadu. So while it may not have been the most optimal play by R.E.Bing the twister you can now understand why he made the plays he did.

@@WintuitionMTG I'm not familiar and that's a fair assessment, but if he isn't going for it then he shouldn't have used it, he did all that and passed, when he could've saved it for nadus end step when he had more information
