Windows Xp Language bar fix

I didnt got back my language bar. It was disappeared more than a year ago, and tried what you showed, but the language bar still is missing.

***** Thanks for the reply. Well, I tried everything but didn't work. Finally, I got a solution. I copied ctfmon.exe from another computer and pasted it in system32 and ran it. The language bar immediately appeared. Now it works.

That good, I'm surely glad that it worked. Windows XP will fail to update in 2 days in case you didn't know Microsoft will no longer support XP users that means that your computer will be vulnerable to attacks by hackers after April 8.

+Tasawar Hussain Wow! thank you, I'm so happy to read it helped you. I thought this video wasn't helping anyone anymore since this video is old and people are all about windows 10 these days. People think Windows XP can't be used anymore but they are so wrong cause even if you can't update via Microsoft Updates you can still use your computer for saving old files, pictures, videos. Even good for important things like security video surveillance to record your home while you are away. You can still use your computer to surf the internet by not using the default security and changing your security settings to the highest possible instead of low or medium and with good antivirus and anti-malware, anti-spyware software, I don't recommend it for surfing wildly on the internet but it's still possible if needed. As for security surveillance it's the best cause you only have to use it to connect to a secure place that you know is not causing you any harm. I use my XP for that purpose only, I don't use my Windows XP for the internet to surf or watch videos on the net. Idk if you can help me but I'm currently learning japanese and instead of using my phone I want to use my computer and it's windows xp. Well the problem is that I can't see the hiragana, katakana and kanji on the computer, it's just squares. I wanted to know if you could tell me what to do, besides telling me to get a new computer.

Yikes, do you still have connection to the internet on that? Let me know because if you don't, then I will have to get you connected and that's not going to be easy. Even after that you will not be secured if you're planning on surfing the way you used to in the past because Windows XP is no longer supported. That will mean no updates from Microsoft, and Google chrome ended support for XP also. Firefox won't work either. Opera does but you need the version that work. Either way you will need to be very careful surfing or get infected. As for the language you want, it needs to get installed also. I don't know if Microsoft still let's you download language for XP still. Anyways just Let me know if you have connection to the internet.

for XP if there is no toolbar option, go control panel region and languages option-text services and imput languages- then the mid bad "languages" and push details and u will see the same window as in this video. (Then you will probably see one language added only, so that was the reason why language bar wasn't shown at all). To add another language push Add and in "input language" window select what language u want to add. Then OK OK OK and u will see the bar in place

all you do is rightclick taskbar>toolbars>language bar also make sure the taskbar is unlocked if you need to reposition the language bar.

In the video I show you how to disable everything and re-enable everything. Please be patient and pause the video if you need to. Another thing is to make sure that the box is not checked even though you know you didn't check it. Go to control panel then click on regional and language settings, it looks like a world globe then click on language then details and then on advance and unclick the checkbox if it's checked and then press the ok button for every window till they are all closed :)

Windows 8 just type (LAN) in the search then click on settings below the search. If nothing shows up type the whole name "language", then click on settings and choose from the list. if your Asuz is Windows XP, then it should work for you following the video. Look in descriptions box for more info. I added a link.

Wow! still using XP:) be very careful make sure you use Malwarebytes it's supporting XP Users since Microsoft no longer supports Windows XP. Also try using Hitman Pro, it's a second opinion cloud scanner which can also be used with your virus scanner. They are both free but you can become a premium buyer, it's up to you :) Thanks for posting :)
