I’m an Indonesian living in Australia and my great grandmother from my mum side is a Dutch Indo (Mixed Indonesian and Dutch). I’ve watched all these Dutch migrant to Australia videos and it’s really interesting to find out that many of the people somehow had lived in Indonesia at some point of their lives. I went to this high school in Muntilan (the city in Central Java mentioned by Cees in this video) which was founded by a Dutch priest named Frans van Lith. This school was used as a camp (prison) for Dutch people when Japan came to Indonesia. So maybe the camp mentioned by Cees is the school I went to.

Amazing how these people still talk with such a heavy Dutch accent, I am Dutch myself but can hear it clearly.

Is niets mis mee, mensen met andere nationaliteiten zoals Italianen, Duitsers, Spanjaarden, Noren Zweden, Denen etc spraken\spreken zeer waarschijnlijk ook met een accent.
