Do they make an outdoor unit for marine applications? Most marine A/C's use a water cooled condenser rather than air cooled. The 24² mini cassettes will work beautifully on my boat. The original (1986) ac units are split type. 16k btu on the main floor and 12k btu in the lower rooms. The compressor/condensers are in the engine room with a seawater pump that circulates water across the condenser.

When using either wall hung or the cassettes ..lets say you put them in the bedrooms and the main living area and kitchen . What do you do about the bathrooms?

Bathrooms have a Bath fan that pulls area when it's on. Undercut the door to the bathroom 2 inches and the air will go underneath the door into the area. Or you can add a vent in the door or a vent or diffuser somewhere on the wall to the bathroom.

Yes, you can add a transfer fan like the AireShare. It has a powered squirrel cage blow motor. You can wire it to a programmable wall switch to have it run at any time you want. They work really well

So I am curious, If I am building/remodeling a gutted flat roof house that requires 48000btu 4 ton and I have 8 rooms I have to cool, my understanding is that I would need 2 4 head units that equal 48000btu combined. Am I correct in my thinking or is my thinking cross ways?
