Always have someone near if you plan to climb a ladder… you made the smart decision. I love watching your videos. They are so calming and inspirational. Have a wonderful Birthday, Patty. Treat yourself to something special - but, PLEASE, stay off that roof. I've gone up my flat sun room roof to caulk a leak (at 82). Fishing for that last rung of the ladder coming down while crawling on your stomach isn't for the faint of heart (nor us ladies, really!). Again, all the best for the next adventurous decade. 🥳

@@enahaylock6551 Well, actually, my cat allows me to share the space with her 😹 Closest beach is just down the mountain, about 45 minutes. And the towns with beaches range from Punta Chame to Farrallon. El Valle is a bit warmer than Boquete. I felt cold in Volcan!

@@viral_videos257 Only a year old!!!!!!! But, part of the roof was there. This new roofer says the installation was bad. I’ve replaced some older panels. But, it’s just the zinc material and it is not good in my opinion. I made it insulated by reusing the thermo panels from my old roof. Which is great for sound and heat protection but very annoying to have this recurring issue. I have a long list of projects once I have the funds, and I just added, ‘new casita roof’ to the list 😣
