@bill bright, that was a comment not needed, and the man was 70 year's old, doing work that most people his age couldn't do. Mr. Outsider mentioned that his grandpa is 98, and stopped working real heavy at 96, and that his family have lived to really old age. God has an exit time for all of us, and making this statement without even knowing the man is a bit harsh considering he passed away only a month ago. God bless you, and i pray you find some compassion in your heart and consider that people are grieving right now, but still shared this special video for those who have been watching a son working with his dad on this cabin through some already tough times.

I agree 100%. Not many get a father like this young man's. My path would've been a lot better & easier had i had one, but i finally turned out a woman of faith, honor & integrity (by Gods grace only); i think from the fervent prayers of his mother. Bc my younger yrs were full of violence, degradation & ❤ ache & beatings. But that goes to show us how powerful God's love & mercy is! Im very lucky & favored of Jehovah somehow. Praise the Lord!

My father taught me one thing. Never to touch alcohol. He did that by drinking himself to death. Outsider's Dad was what I would call a Man. He didn't need to run around yelling about how manly he was, he just quietly went about life and raised his family the way he should have. Outsider is proof of that. Blessed Be.

Had to take a deep breath before I clicked play, tears started streaming down before the video started. It's strange yet by design (at least based on my beliefs) that I am crying for a total stranger that I've only known through KZbin videos, however it has happened more often than I want. There is a strange comfort in it. As I read comments, I'm not the only one. It is a very odd way of knowing that there are still good people out there, people who value life, people who can morn with a total stranger on the internet and help celebrate his life. For thus I am grateful. Thank you for sharing. Know that his life and your sharing of it all helps people, just another small thing to add to what I imagine was a lifetime of amazing love and giving. @Julie Crable I know this feeling to. About two years ago my brother sent me a video of an other youtube channel about doing stuff outside, in the woods. In this video one of the to main persons of said channel told the viewers thad he has cancer, again for the third time. The doctor had told him hi has between two weeks and two months left to live. But while telling this bad realy bad news to his audience he was realy realy happy, because he has found Jesus, his saver. He had a multiple interviews, including some for tv, where he told the gospel to a large audience. I realy like youtube channels run by beliving christians, even it they dont directly tell anything about theyr belive, you can still see it with the way they live theyr live.

The bond you had with your dad is truly humbling. You know he's looking down watching you and smiling; feeling a huge sense of proud accomplishment. I shed tears when you first broke the news of your father's passing. I shed tears anew at this tribute. What a fine man you had for a father, not only was he a mentor, but also a friend. Yet not only was he a buddy, he was a leader. And the man you are today is proof of the legacy he lived for, one that will certainly live on long after his last breath. And in closing, I must say that there is no greater legacy a man can leave than to point and lead his son to his true home in eternity, where Jesus lives and reigns forever. Sr. Outsider has passed through death's door and lives forever. You will see him again, that is your comfort and your peace. Meanwhile may you find strength and solace in the beautiful memories he left in your heart. ♥️ (Philippines)

Greetings from Northeast Ohio. Wow, that lump in my throat really hurts. I think I need to let it go. My husband and I have been watching you and your dad for four years. Maybe five. My husband passed at the age of 75 September, 2020. He loved your videos. He bought a sawmill because of you. He had a friend that needed 60 some pine trees cut down. So he did what you would do, He cut them down. We started bringing the trees home with a dream to build a cabin on our extra piece of property. 5 acres. A few months later we found out he had pancreatic cancer. But I continue to live his dream watching you and your dad finish the cabin. His passing was very very sad for all of us, your viewers. I know the pain that you felt as you walk through that cabin door without your dad. We all know that loss is in our future but we are never ready. I hope the many many comments you get from this video brings you some comfort.

I found your videos about a month ago as I'm always interested in DIY projects and "watching" others with power tools creating worthy projects. Imagine my surprise when I found "your" videos because it meant so much more than that! I've been completely enthralled with your backstory because it speaks to the quality of life that many of us can only dream about. Meaning, you and your Dad spent quality time together creating something from nothing with your vision, your hard work and willingness to share it all with strangers. The icing on the cake was you giving all credit to our Creator. I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your father. I'm praying for you and your family during your time of grief and healing. He was only a few years older than myself. You "still" have a story to tell because people everywhere hunger for what you have. I hope you continue to create from your vision and continue to share; your work, your faith and your story. I hail from Texas, but I truly enjoy leaving home every so often to join you on your journey watching you create and build. How I wish there was a way for your story to become a docu-series to share with other hungry people. Much love sent to you and your beautiful family, your legacy. God's merciful blessings to all of you.

Lost my father in 1989, he was born 1932 and was also a man of homestead and knowledge. The pain does not really leave as much as it tucks itself back to rise up in times like this video. I look forward to seeing everyone in a better place ❤ Your video was beyond beautiful and I am truly sorry for your loss.

I watched this for reasons I didn't understand, it just appeared on my screen. But I sit with a lump in my throat, and tears fill my heart. While any minute my be my own fathers final breath. As he had a heart attack 2 days ago. A broken heart after my precious mum died of cancer a few months ago. With tears In his eyes, he longs to be with my mum, resting in the arms of our heavenly father..God bless you ..

My father is in his last days now. Today I go visit him at a local nursing home. My father made many mistakes in his past the worst of which was causing my parents divorce. He tried to make up for it many years after, but sadly I was his only child that appreciated that gesture?! My brother and sister have been thorns in both my and my father’s life. Life is too short to waste on not appreciating what you do have! May we all who love The Lord Jesus Christ walk worthy of this calling!!! ✌️✌️🙏😞❤️ 2 Timothy 2:3 KJV
