Nice to finally meet you Paw Paw Tony. My dad was also born in 1943 and served in the military. He was stationed in Puerto Rico in the Air Force. They aren’t making them like y’all much any more. Kind, generous and humble to a fault. We sure are blessed to have been raised and know these good hearted country folks.

Papaw Tony is the same age as me, born in 1943. I love his attitude about Matt when he was little. The Bible says, "train a child up in the way he should go, when he is old he'll not turn from it." Notice that it says nothing about adolescence and teen years. We make a lot of mistakes when we're young but, that doesn't mean we've forgotten right from wrong. Papaw instilled a great work ethic in his son., and a love of family. I share a lot in common with Tony. Love y'all.

What a great interview Tipper. Mr. Pressley was a delight to listen to. He sure did one incredible job raising Matt. I bet he could tell some very interesting stories growing up in such a large family. I agree with DavidF-c3m, I saw the expression change, the hurt in his eyes when Tipper mentioned not charging the hurricane victims. Absolutely for sure our world needs more and more men like Matt and his dad. I would love to listen to more interviews, memories of his childhood days, school days, past holidays, etc. Salt of the earth for sure. Thank you Tipper for sharing "papaw Tony with all of us. We truly love this whole family. LOL there is one problem though, Tipper, when you talk about Papaw Tony and the pickled beans and corn and his homemade sausage, many of us here start wishin' we could get a taste of those two delicacies!

Did he learn to be an electrician at the mill? 2. Does his forestry degree help him in his outdoor adventures, deer hunting, and/or tending his own garden or land?
