I haven’t seen this much drive in a sharks player in a long time. You can tell he hates to lose and works as hard as he can to prevent that from happening.

I was saying while watching this game that they are missing Couture or just someone as Captain. At some point in the past couple weeks, it looks like they've needed "the guy" to tell them to take a deep breath or really dig in here. I'm not even talking about a Pavs dressing room tongue lashing, sometimes it's just a quick chat down the bench. Celebrini obviously has these leadership qualities and will figure this out but he can't be the guy to do this 2 months into his career. Poor guy takes it so hard already, somebody tell him they still want to kind of suck this year.

Yes, Macklin Celebrini is making errors but he's only been playing in the NHL for a few months now. And as an 18 year old I'll give him a pass. Additionally, Macklin likely feels pressure to do more and so stuff happens, both good and bad. As this young team matures and gets better as a whole, he won't have to carry such a heavy load and his game will improve. I see progress in the team's commitment and competitive effort since the start of the season for sure. It will take some time for more positive growth (and by adding a few more pieces). Mike Grier has done a lot of good things in the rebuild. But I hope to see a bonified #1 defensive pair for the Sharks to help shut down the opponent when we have a lead. Unfortunately, that is an area that SJ lacks at the moment. But overall, I like what I am seeing from the Sharks this year. As a long time fan, I have to keep reminding myself to be patient. They will get better... Go Sharks!

Everybody talks about his offensive ability, but his defensive acumen is also impressive; minus 1 costly mistake in this game.

Celebrini is way more natural and comfortable than Bedard on the ice but Bedard knows how to talk. Bedards way more comfortable in a interview. Celebrini needs PR lessons. But I'd take him over Bedard in a heartbeat. He s going to be a monster in due time.....moves the puck like Gretzky
