He very well could be lying but in this interview he was there for entirely different reasons and the host took an opportunity to try and get easy ratings. Btw nobody is celebrating the crime. If that’s how you interpreted what I said or people liking the comment that’s on you.

@@andyward8430 I suggest actually looking into what happened. He lost that case because his lawyers completely flubbed it. All the evidence was stacked *against* the woman accusing him, and there's damn near fool proof evidence it was entirely consensual (multiple witnesses and physical evidence). But his lawyers failed to properly cross examine witnesses and the plaintiff. It's very widely accepted that he didn't actually do anything, especially considering his history and what happened after he got out of prison.

Rome really used that interview to his advantage. He knew he wouldn't get hurt and he also knew it would bring him attention. He and Everett eventually buried the hatchet. 20 plus years later and Rome has one of the biggest nationally syndicated sports talk radios shows in the country. Oh, and he's never again called a male athlete by a ladies name.

Used to love listening to his radio show. He brought uo that incident multiple times and how he regretted it. He actually made fun of himself. He learned his lesson.

A lot of them were nasty, but the one with Samuel L Jackson was absolutely funny as hell. I think he even thought it was funny as hell.
