I'm poor. Imagine though... If one is poor, you have hope that if you just improve you life and situation a bit, you MIGHT be able to attract real friends with the calmness that being comfortable (not super rich btw) will bestow. If you are already comfortable, or rich, you can only blame yourself (or worse everyone else) for your loneliness. Paradoxically being poor and lonely is therefore better than being rich and lonely.

@@the3sounds there is no such thing as real friends when your poor the relationship is based on using each other because y’all are so broke. Hey “can you give me a ride” “hey do you have money I’ll pay you back” “ hey can I borrow your truck to help me move” it’s even worse when your poor because you can easily be accessed and killed because nobody cares about the poor also theirs a difference between middle class, poor, and dirt poor you can’t make friends when you don’t even have your basic needs and are trying to survive. If your surrounded by broke people you will stay broke so no don’t romanticize being poor If you live in America at least

What's the "answer" then? Tell me? I think people just delude themselves that there's some magical recipe for happiness. In reality, people are just scared of who they are, what they really want, and what others might think of them. Life is first and foremost about survival and reproduction. That's it. Other aspects of life are just a bonus. I, personally love challenges, overcome barriers and achieve new goals. I also love working out. Anything that makes you feel really alive in this world is worth pursuing. I also strongly believe in achieving financial freedom. I’m 22, have a full time job and going college. I go to work, go home exhausted, do hw, go to bed, wake up and repeat. On the weekend, I just don’t feel doing anything, been hanging out less and less with my friend. I do feel lonely sometimes since I’m usually just by myself after a busy week. But I just keep telling myself things will get better, it’s okay to be feel lonely, we all dealing with loneliness one way or another. I watch anime and it definitely helps out my stress a lot. I’m not really sure what I’m trying to say here but if you happens to read this and can relate to this somehow. It’s okay to feel lonely. Don’t be hard on yourself, keep your head up I know it’s difficult sometimes but things will get better as long as you working towards it and you keep believing in your self. You don’t need to go party, you don’t need hangout all the times, you don’t need validation from other people. Take your time and have fun just being by yourself!

Four tests to study if the HOLY BIBLE is historically accurate... Any document (book) that claims to be giving me accurate information historically I am a skeptic, not a cynic, but a skeptic. That is why I have four tests I consistently use on any document that claims to be giving me accurate historical information. So, any book that claims to be historical, I pass through those four tests in order to determine historical reliability. If you don't like my tests come up with your own tests to determine historical facts. When you read the Holy Bible you need to read in context and respect literary style. @pacifca nonook That´s very interesting. I often asked myself why some people are so annoyingly extroverted and dependence on others might be the answer. I have a tendency to be independend and not engage with people unlesse I feel like it but I really don´t need other people to live my life. Even work can be done with a computer and a telephone, there is no need for real interaction. I even travel on my own and it feels amazing, like I was a particle that connects with the whole universe but still is independend (that must sound like bs to someone in poverty). Until now I wasn´t aware that I have to be grateful for the fact that I don´t need people and can choose. Thanks for that and good luck.

Mark 7:21 - For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Romans 1:21 - Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. To have the moment on stage, wicked and sick ritual must be performed. They are masons in masonry. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. GOD `s expectations to us: come to repentance come out from BABYLON born again live holy do the will of your heavenly father. Matthew 9:13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. John 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. 1 Peter 1:16 - Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. Actually after a bunch of time spent with someone (could be even a girlfriend) I have to be alone. I have to go to my house and spend it with myself. I've been alone my whole life.. Nobody looks for me until they need something. I have found that being alone isn't a curse, it's a blessing. People don't care, they use.. I'm better off without them. Once you come to the realization that you mean nothing to nobody, and you're better off by yourself, life becomes better. Having someone to spend time with is nice, but never allow yourself to depend on anyone. The only person you can depend on is the person that watches you brush your teeth every morning.

They have ignorant assumptions and open their mouths but don't even know when they're being insulting. It's better to not engage people because in the end, they're toxic and I'm tired of cleansing myself of their bad energy. Instead of taking in trash, I avoid it..

Wanna know why? because all they brought to the table was their negativity and their selfish "what's in it for them" narcissistic mentality. If you want great friendships, you have to learn to give _more_ than 50% of the time. Be a good friend, a good listener, help them out, plan fun events, etc. If you don't find friends like this, try different avenues (hobbies interests).

This is a huge aspect of humanity that needs to be addressed more. Learning to allow yourself to feel comfortable and at peace on your own, is one of the most challenging experiences one can have. But once you learn or so I am told, it is the sweetest nectar to be at peace in your own company. As well you can never be truly alone anyway, as there is always something or someone reflecting back to you some kind of perspective that reminds of that fact. For it is just ones own interpretation of the perspective provided in any given situation..

I've had it all - or at least what "all" is considered to be. Expensive cars, a level of fame, wealth, women that most guys would kill to have on their arm. And I can tell you...your happiness takes place from the bottom of your feet to the top of your head. These days, even though I always valued my solitude (which is why staying married never worked for me) , and even though I enjoy the company of others from time to time, I relish solitude more than anything. ...Too much to do that doesn't require people. Solitude may very well be our most unappreciated commodity. Appreciate it. You'll grow infinitely more in a medium of solitude than you will in a medium of people.

People evolved into struggling and hard working beings and when one or both of these components are missing you have a problem with yourself, what makes it more challenging is that everyone gets it differently. Rich people often don't have to worry about making money for survival but their inherited trait of struggle remains and can be manifested in various ways often resulting in depression or existential crisis.
@JamesG800
@JamesG800 3 жыл бұрын
When you're alone there's no one else to deal with but yourself and that's the one person most people are terrified of dealing with. We know all of our flaws, our secrets, all the little things we don't show anyone else. When you're alone, you gotta deal with that and it's no easy thing to do. This is why most people are terrified of being alone. Furthermore it's not about "loving yourself" either. That's a stupid thing the mob likes to say: "you need to learn to love yourself". What a bunch of crap that is. The reality is that people tend to love their self to madness, depression, perhaps even death. Vanity and self serving compulsions, "the all natural opiate", as mentioned in The Devil's Advocate. Growth, success, and self improvement only take place when we go against our own desires and restrain from "loving ourselves" and doing what is not in our nature to do. Such as, listening to someone else's problems without trying to seem superior to them providing answers they don't need to hear at the moment, just listen to them with a compassionate ear. Stop playing the victim for attention and stop virtue signaling for even more attention. When you do something good, people will notice without your proclamations. Work on loving someone other than yourself and perhaps then you may be able to tolerate yourself when you're alone.

human beings are innately social and there may be some survival function that forces people to have the need to be around others. There is a reason why people locked in solitary confinement go insane. However, various sages are supposed to have found inner peace by not being around other human beings. Being lonely is an emotion that everyone experiences from time to time, but I think people who are either exceptionally gifted or accomplished probably feel loneliness more than others because there are so few who can relate to their experiences. In that sense, while being mediocre is lamentable, at the same time I feel quite fortunate to be mediocre. There are, after all, more people who can empathize with mediocrity than with exceptionalism. In that sense, I have a lot of company.

Think to them every day and do something with your talent, your beauty and your Noble and Powerful Heart. And you'll never feel alone again. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul? - Matthew 16,26 If I was a millionaire, I could pay some random stranger money to spend time with me. Not alone anymore. Problem solved. I would spend time with a famous person for some hours even for little money. Or bring a friend along on your trips. Maybe that would work. I know the feeling of loneliness. I am rather socially awkward and only have few friends. I can relate to Keanu saying "private life is boring but work is good" because though work can be tough, it has several plusses combined: Nice colleages and social interaction. Doing something with your energy and time to keep society running and earning your own living. I need my alone time to recharge and I have phases or days when I feel lonely but I try to minimize them by trying to have a regular schedule of tasks even when I'm not working. And I would hate to spend time living in an "empty" hotel room where I don't have my own stuff there.

I believe most people who feel this way are very deep thinkers. Very intelligent. They have the ability or have had the opportunity to open doors within themselves that reveal questions that have seemingly no answers, and when you happen across an unanswerable question that comes from within you it changes the way you look at life. It's like being presented with a problem that you realise has no solution. Quite disheartening really. Anyway, have a great day all👍🏻
