No. I live for ship lounges and this ship isn't about lounges one bit. I don't like the dedicated prime spaces for suite passenger focus of this ship and too many signature wonderful Celebrity spaces were deleted on this ship. I feel it has too many restaurants. It also lacks the Celebrity design/decor style of modern/retro that give the Solstice and Millennium class their signature Celebrity style. Not to say it isn't pretty. But it isn't as recognizable inside as a Celebrity ship except in a few restaurants. If you are new to Celebrity, you'll get an Edge ship experience. That's quite different than the usual Celebrity experience and it can be a great ship for those that like what it offers.

Omg just blown away with how amazing this ship is. That theater is NICE!!!! Idk about the low seating though. It would be tough trying to get up after a few beverages. Lol once we're down, we may have to stay down. 😂

I mentioned it on a short but man I would be taking the stairs a lot with food like that on the ship. I saw all the fresh fruit though at the buffet and I would be loving it

Totally am a true Celebrity fan after sailing Celebrity Apex in March. Already booked Celebrity for next year. Previously was a Carnival and Royal Caribbean fan however Love Celebrity "Grown and Classy" effect including OUTSTANDING FOOD and DESTINATIONS ❤!!!

Loved the video. My wife and I did a 12 day Mediterranean cruise this past June on the Beyond (thru Italy, Greece, and Turkey). One minor correction: the restaurant, Blu, is for the Aqua class guests. The Retreat has their own restaurant. I forgot what the name is. In any case, your video made me want to be back on another edge class ship. So I might travel on the Ascent in February for my birthday. If not, I’ll do it later this summer. Keep up the good work.

I was on a Celebrity cruise about 10 years ago. It was great. You asked about sparkling wine vs. champagne. The difference is where it’s produced. If it’s produced in the Champagne region it’s called champagne, otherwise it’s sparkling wine. I’m looking forward to day 2 🎉

When I open champagne, I place a towel over the metal part and pop it open. The towel helps and it catches the cork to help prevent injury. Glad you enjoyed the cruise and thanks for taking up with you. Yay Cheryl! She’s so fun!

There is a large tv screen at the aft of the ship. They didn’t play any movies while we were onboard but I’d imagine they will. That area is beautiful. I’ll share it on tomorrow’s vlog.

The ship looks beautiful but the decor seems bland. It reminds me of a Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center in an urban area rather than a ship heading to the Bahamas .

This ship won’t always visit the Bahamas. Ships typically aren’t decorated for the destination.

I agree. The older style of Celebrity ships were swanky and evocative of stylish 1920s-1960s hotels and social clubs. This is pretty and modern but lacking that Celebrity style they've established. Check out the Martini Bar in the Solstice ships vs. what''s in this ship. Big difference.

That's the way it is in most classes of ships. A while ago, actually back in the 1990s, Celebrity made the Century class. Those three had significant differences in their interiors. But they were unique in that regard.
