With 21 bedrooms, if 21 ppl/couples got together, assuming each bedroom has an ensuite bath, each room would cost $238k. But, would come with a basketball court, indoor pool, nightclub, recording studio, not to mention whatever other things. Seems like it would be a great commune. With the acreage, a self-sustaining farm could be created.

I absolutely agree. For a lot of people, money doesn't buy class or sophistication. Many of these houses are just about the amount of space and with little consideration as to what Is necessary to make it a home. Sure, a big kitchen is nice however, do you really want to turn around and walk 15 feet to get from one work station to another. I've been to the Palace of Versailles and, for as grand as it is. . . there is still an intimacy attached to it while respecting the principals of classical architecture. Sadly, there were some owners and architects who missed the boat on many of these.

So, my uncle bought the estate that belonged to the founder of Little Debbie’s cakes. It had 12 acres, a 7500 sq foot mansion, an Olympic sized pool, a His and her pool house, plus a barn and a pasture for horses. The first time I visited him in the house, I got lost. I always loved spending my summers there and my uncle is a really awesome person. Anyway, years later he wanted to sell it so that he and his wife could get something smaller...instead they went bigger, but I digress, he had several people that were interested in the home, but no buyers. One of the reasons why homes like these don’t sell is because when someone has that kind of money, they often want to build their own dream home instead of someone else’s dream. Makes sense when you think about it like that. My uncle eventually sold his home to a church for a reduced price (if I’m remembering correctly) before eventually ending up on a larger estate with more land.
@aaron___60142 жыл бұрын
7500sq ft is not large enough to get lost in. I've been in many homes over 30,000 sqft and I don't see how you could get lost. Also, isn't the little Debby's mansion called the McKee house? That's a 14,000+ sqft home.
@CrazyWarriorCatLady2 жыл бұрын
@@aaron___6014 the little Debbie’s owned several different mansions. Also, I was a kid when I first visited my uncle’s home. As an adult, it is not overwhelming enough to get lost in, but as a little kid, it was disorienting at first.

Apparently, when a house has been redesigned and redecorated in too personal a fashion, catering to the tastes of only one particular man, it cannot be sold. Who wants to buy something that one has to redo 100%?
@jmackinjersey14 жыл бұрын
A majority of places like this are redesigned by the wealthy person that buys them. Even brand new houses like these are redesigned to fit the new owners tastes. I've seen houses renovated in the neighborhood of 3 million dollars, sold and the first thing the new owner does is get a designer in there and redo everything that was just done, spending up to or even more than the previous reno.
@axbt0144 жыл бұрын

The Donald beach house is the prettiest of this bunch, specially that it has a beach right outside. And as expected from a business man, the house gets rented (makes money) while it sales. Love this house because it really looks like a home. The size of every room is moderate and the yellow kitchen is lovely.

Some of the houses are just big UGLY boxes...no curb appeal! 1. Regardless of how big or how small a house is, you are not going to want to be in it 24 /7. Most people want to get out and socialize and have fun. 2.Remember: Having lots of money without wisdom and happiness, is a formula for a big disaster. Money is not the Source; it is an effect. 3, Money can’t buy you a happy Life! Money can’t make a house into a happy and loving home, an associate into a trusted friend, or a sickness into healing. Unconditioned joy is from inside first and then the outside would reflect this back to match the energy frequency that you send out. 4. 3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers.
@migueltucabron5 жыл бұрын
I kinda agree but i still believe a really nice and big house in the right neighborhood with all your relatives in the area still would be kinda cool. In the end money is just useful tool to achieve things, not a source as you already stated.

You not meant to.. Just for show and status recognition and maybe make it a business prospect at the same time.. like these people have 'homes' across the world...It's simply a luxurious safe house with some business prospects and a way to park some dough. Though I think the hotel type home living it's somewhat safe and convenient as you get Uber hotel eats from the special chef that only serves certain floors and all custom made meals so no BS...And plus I did enjoy brekky at The Plaza where the Hifigers had a box I mean a 2 levels luxurious safe box but of course my brekky wasn't done by the special chef but it's a nice building close to central park and got some nice golden decorations to it on the outside which I think it's just right given the location but not overly in your face.
