Her entrance was a reference to Tina Turner’s entrance when she performed that song at the divas live concert in 1999. Also, I think the dress was a call back to the McQueen chain metal dress that she wore in her “River Deep Mountain High” performance from her Vegas residency that year (2007), which I HIGHLY recommend. I think it’s one of her best performances ever.

I always enjoyed this song and Celine did a nice cover. It I a very uplifting song. Another recommendation is Celine singing the song I Surrender live from Las Vegas in 2007.

Hey Saeed, couple quick things: 1:/ geez you must be busy! Lotsa reactions! 2./ noted that you were lamenting the other day, having a Mexican Martin. I call mine a Martinez! 3./. I’m the new sub Canadian guy that will, here and there, ask for/recommend a few lesser known but awesome Canadian blasts from the past. So… here’s one: (Fear of) Flying by the Hometown Band. Shari Ullrich the powerful vocals in a soaring, yet moody number. Can be followed by another of theirs, I’m Ready. Uptempo and soulful with the great vocals again. Should be findable on U toob easy enough. Thanks friend ( oh yes btw, the wife and I got lost on foot in Bruges, then in our rental car in Ghent!)
