Fun fact: In the manga Imperfect Cell has said (implied) to Piccolo that he could also use the spirit bomb. He doesn’t use it throughout the manga and anime, but in one of the dragon ball fighting games Cell’s move set can be customizable to use other fighters moves and if you equipped the spirit bomb and use it, he would said along the lines of “I told you I could use it if I wanted to!”.

2:31 TFS did a good job at adding humor to this scene, because it was just straight up horror in the original anime. The fatman is trying to offer money to Piccolo to save him, which is why there's a bundle of cash here. Cell takes his time "drinking" him, so you get to see his face while he screams. It's the headcannon of TFS that Cell is injecting acid to melt them from the inside, as Cell is based on an actual insect that feeds this way. Officially it is never explained, but it is implied that Cell is just using extreme force to drink them, bones and all.

I do enjoy the running joke about the Androids/Cyborgs/Artificial Humans. Trunks describes them to Goku, who immediately replies "Androids?" and before Trunks can correct him, he just doubles down on it, and Trunks wisely decides to give up, because tbh who cares. Then all this time the characters call them Androids until Cell corrects Piccolo in the most "know it all" way possible, just like man you didn't have to do him like that lol. Cell must be a hardcore Dragon Ball fan who owns all the manga volumes or something.

The joke about the "Special Beam Canon" is that abridged piccolo didn't know how to pronounce the Japanese version of his attack, so he called it by the dub version. So when cell calls it by the Japanese version, "Makankosappo", that is where kami says,"So that's how you pronounce it. Remember that for later.

TFS talked about how they believe Cell's "drinking" works. He basically stabs you and injects you with an acid that liquefies your insides (organs, bones, etc) and then just drinks you up from the tail. So every victim dies a VERY painful death as they are drunk.
