Man, I only have one nitpick with the game, why are the ultimate beams like Final Flash or even this Solar Kamehameha so slim? Everytime a major ultimate beam gets used I'm expecting a big blast just to see them be the same size as a normal super beam. Really hope that changes at some point if possible.

Larger beams would make it easier to hit them in combos, which could be disastrous for the game. I'm just imagining all the Touch of Death combos that would lead to. Ultimates in this game do ~20k damage, which is 2 full health bars, in a game where most characters only have 3 health bars.

This is a minor critique, but 0:12 is the way that I feel the Sparking Zero character selection should handle its forms of one character. Instead of having 15 versions of Goku fill up the roster, just divide Goku into 3 eras, and have a sub selection slot to pick whichever form you would want. This way it's more organized and clean. Just my two cents 🤷🏾‍♂️ Edit. Look at the contrast at 0:51. The screen is mostly ALL Vegeta variations. They can simplify it easy, but maybe they want to make it appear that the game has more characters than it really does.

If his two bar barrage death beam becomes the same problem as Tenkaichi 3, then I'd expect none to run anyone besides Perfect Form Cell. That's one character that's broken then we'd have to wait for Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta to have new attacks and literally break the game but to make him balanced they will definitely keep him the Big Bang Kamehameha as he was the first fusion to actually do it.

Cell's special moves are all the same as Tenkaichi 3, save for Full Power Death Beam being renamed to Perfect Beam. Actually a bit of a bummer- I liked some of the Raging Blast additions like the Prelude to Perfect Form power-up and Super Big Bang Crash.

I don't like that they split a ton of transformations into separate characters. The main cast having a character for each time period makes some sense, but not for villain transformations usually. The character select screen looks small and cluttered for the 180+ characters you have, really not looking forward to scrolling infinitely to find a character.

This also offers us a counter to UI characters like Goku and Whis, who I recall have their ki bar drained when they auto dodge. So, the stage *does* change for Namek, because Destroyed Namek is there. I'm pretty sure the only reason Earth stages can't be destroyed in the demo is that the Destroyed Earth stage hasn't been revealed, so they turned off transitions in those stages for the demo; it's definitely gonna be a thing in the final game, they've been hitting the destruction and "Shake the Earth" stuff since the marketing started.

It should have been a fusion honestly. If you use semi cell ultimate while spcell is one your team, it fuses. After the ultimate, semi is gone, and spcell comes in with 1 additional health bar and permanent buffs like a fusion character

Past BT games never cared about this. You always could select a weaker DP character that had stronger transformations with higher DP. That's part of the strategy when playing DP battles. You could have more characters but start the match with a weaker transformation, or have less characters, but start in your strongest transformation. Same way for fusions.

alright for the feedback video, Combos do a bit too much damage imo I know you got some defense options but combos are super quick and you get to make a super in the end so I hope that gets nerfed a bit, also Cell Perfect should be back with the main Cell because in team games or challenges I think most people want to go all the way, same also hopefully with ultra instinct but that seems a bit much...also hoping for Handicap options for offline or online, like the ones in Storm Connections has in free battle if you haven't seen that.

The only two things I don't like about SZ Cell is that 1. his 1st form doesn't use Zetsumei Bullet(the grab and blast ultimate he used on Piccolo in the anime) as an ultimate. 2. Perfect Rush is underwhelming compared to Perfect Combination from BT3 Other than that, he's a good character

I mean you do realize this game is more a follow up to BT3 so of course 1st form Cell ultimate is going be the same one he used in BT3. Which was Drain Life. Now what I do sort of agree with is Super Perfect Cell’s Rush super. Perfect Combination does have the advantage of being very iconic, so I am mixed that it’s not here. But the Rush they replaced it with didn’t just came out of nowhere. It’s actually a reference to what he did to Vegeta before the famous Beam Clash. It’s further shows that they know the series that they’re working with. Even adding some references as straight up moves like that.

Even the ultimate I mentioned is also reference to what he did to Piccolo. Another thing, they're not taking everything from Tenkaichi 3. Most of the moves I've seen so far are completely new, which is why I wish they did the same with 1st form Cell. But it can't be helped, unless I'll see it on a custom preset.

SSJ3 Goku lacks muscle I know, it looked way worse when he was first revealed, they tweaked his model slightly in the demos. I personally don't like it but it looks similar to Toriyama's modern artstyle, less muscle and refined eyes and faces.
