I wouldn't be so sure that he'd recover from the ki blast. If he managed to destroy the lump in Cell's head completely, then there would be no regen. Only in the anime is Cell able to recover so long as a single cell exists. Canonically, in the manga, he says that the lump in his head enables him to come back. He's not Buu, where all he needs is a single atom to regenerate.

If Dabuura wasn't under Babidi control, he would be a lot weaker. That's why Vegeta allowed Babidi to manipulate him, in order to increase his power.

I wouldn't say A LOT weaker, the dude was still king of the demon world, and there's a reason Babidi took control of him to begin with. I don't imagine he would take on just any Joe Schmo. My guess is he was somewhere around SSJ1/100% Frieza before the majin increase. Which is still pretty decent, considering not a whole lot of beings possess that kind of power. In addition, he still has useful magic like the stone spit. People are always underestimating Dabura because "muh Cell is so powerful, no one can beat him". I've even seen others imply Super Perfect Cell could mop the floor with Majin Buu. The Android saga fanboys always remind us that by and large, characters from later sagas are stronger than previous ones, like when anyone implies that 100% Frieza is stronger than android's 19 and 20. Seems to me that they ignore this logic when it's convenient. Plus, think about it, Majin Vegeta's increase was not that dramatic. He went from an SSJ2 level to somewhat stronger version. It didn't push him to SSJ3. I think we could safely say that Dabura's increase didn't make him radically stronger. A boost to be sure, but not so much that he was like.... saiyan saga weak to begin with.

Yes, especially the fact that Frieza's 2nd form was over 1,000,000, I'm sure that it's not equal. It's just that it was pretty much the same scenario as Cell when the Z fighters went against Dabura, which might lead to that miscalculation.

On the manga Goku says that Dabura is at Cell's level. Of course Goku wasn't refering to Super Perfect Cell, but it would be normal to think that Dabura was a little weaker than Perfect Cell. But while they are fighting, Goku says that Dabura is alot stronger than he thought. That means that he is stronger than Perfect Cell (Super Perfect Cell was much stronger than Dabura, of course).

Goku was 90.000 before he recovered, 180.000 was while using the Kaioken. The Zenkai's power ups is ridiculous. Vegeta recieved a power from 30.000 to around 1st form Freeza's power (530.000), and after another Zenkai he thought that was able to defeat 3rd form Freeza (who was above 1 million). Since Goku was able to fight evenly with final form Freeza for a while, and Freeza was above one million in that form, Goku was above one million too.

Now after watching the Dabura vs. Gohan fight and focusing on every part Goku, the Supreme Kai, and Vegeta speak. Goku comes to the conclusion that Dabura is giving Gohan a much harder time than he thought. Goku then agrees with Vegeta Gohan was a lot stronger when he was a kid and has slacked off tremendously. Vegeta then states he could beat Dabura, and yet he is only a Super Saiyan. He has not become Majin yet.

Cell turned into stone too quickly. The actual way it happens is the stone spreads. Cell could've easily dislodged atleast one cell to regenerate back. =P Impressive editing, none-the-less.

If he hit the lump, then no, he wouldn't. There would be no regeneration. It would be like hitting Cell's brain. Only in the anime does he say that he can regenerate from any single cell. The nucleus inside of him is what allows Cell to regenerate. Think of it like the core of Lavos. Soon as you destroy that, the body can never come back.

Goku never says directly that Dabura is stronger than Cell. Goku first says that Dabura is around Cell's power (probably Perfect Cell, since SP Cell is a little too far), but while Gohan is fighting with Dabura, Goku says that Dabura is stronger than he first thought, meaning that Dabura > Cell's form that Goku was reffering (like I said, it was most likely Perfect Cell).

If you remember correctly piccolo was wrong. Goku kept it from everyone that he could go ssj3. Also the latent potential in Gohan was never surpassed by anyone except maybe the fused saiyans. But like I said if you are referring to the english dubbed version then that statement is inaccurate as most of the english dialogue is, also like I already said it doesn't matter because it's all speculation as to what who's power was at any time after the frieza saga so just leave it at that.

That has nothing to do with Vegeta being able to ascend to SS2. Also after Vegeta had fallen under Babidi's spell, he said to Goku he knew the gap between their powers would disappear. Hence why he could not go SS2. If Vegeta could have gone SS2 there would have been no reason for him to fall under Babidi's control.

Why? Goku was a particularly gifted fighter, in a tier that not even Vegeta was in. It's entirely possible that even in SSJ2, there would be a gap between them. Look at the Cell saga. Even though they both reached SSJ, Goku could go toe to toe with Perfect Cell, while he smoked Vegeta.

They are around the same power level, but if Cell was hit with the spit and started to turn to stone he would just rip off a body part and allow that part to regenerate. Unless Dabura's stone-spit power applies to detached body parts too. That was never revealed.

he went from 400 to over 8000 with the ability to do kaioken AFTER INTENSE TRAINING he went from 8000 to 180,000 after a NEAR DEATH RECOVERY, ANNNND MORE INTENSE TRAINING So one Recovery- no way in hell he gets up to 1 million from 180k he went up to about 250k with 20 times kaioken to 5 million but was still losing against the power of 50 percent power frieza (6 million)

Goku is at 150.000.000 In his base form he is above one million (3 millions by the Daizenshuu), using the kaioken x10 his power is multiplied by 10 (30.000.000 by the Daizenshuu), while using the Kaioken x20 his power is multiplied by 20 (60.000.000 by the Daizenshuu), and has a ssj his power is multiplied by 50 (150.000.000 by the Daizenshuu).

@Vegito1089 yes as stated by akira when gohan fought dabura he was ssj2 but they forgot to add the lighting affect. gohan was much weaker when he was adult in his ssj2 form. so ssj2 cell was maybe as strong or slightly stronger than gohan since kid gohan 1 hand and half cut power ssj2=adult gohan ssj2. so we can assume super perfect ssj2 cell=1 hand ssj2 kid gohan=adult gohan ssj2=dabura.

That said, its possible when goku said "dabura is about as strong as cell" goku was referring to perfect cell and not super perfect cell, since goku never actually saw super perfect cell.
