I was at that game what an atmosphere Frank mcgarvey was a great player he won us the cup that year and then the board stabbed him in the back and got rid of him he deserved a new contract and the fans knew it,as was proved the next season when Frank came back to parkhead with st mirren the reception he got nearly took the roof of parkhead I hope that Frank wins his battle with cancer a great guy and brilliant player

Was at the game today at half time for a talk . Can't change the past but you can rectify the wrongs of it . Sad to see his probable fairwell . Very emotional. HH

I was there as a little boy, I went on to become a pro and I always remember thinking how special provans FK was but the older I got the more I appreciated just how AMAZING Frank mc g header really was, the guy dove almost Completely to his left so he was moving in the same directionas the balll to get on the end of it! One of the best headers I've ever seen

I was there too. MainStand, Centre ish - small tin roof like structure in front of our seats. Did a jig on it when Frank put that header in. RIP Frank.

@89thebrood Some day out Brian.Met up with all the bellsmyre bhoys in in Dumbarton toon centre and there must have been 40-50 of us on the train to glasgow.Big Kenny Moran was with us and knocked some guy out, outside Hampden for calling us teuchtars.😂

Big Kenny.r.i.p.On a lighter note,we bumped into Stu Allen(not the dj.)Yon cnt fae crackerjack,at George's Square.People were shouting "I could crush a dolls hoose" and "I could jump off a grape"😅He couldn't get away quick enough.🏃‍♂️Some lone copper tried to take Kenny's LD off him too.😱He had to fck off as well!😅
