It's always preferable to win these games & score a few goals than not. BUT We need to remember that it is pre-season and these games (despite the match promoters hyping them up) are just glorified training sessions. We should treat those "Two great imposters" Victory & Defeat exactly the same when it comes to pre-season friendlies.

Some of us remember Celtic scraping through 5-3 against Queens Park in the Glasgow Cup with the same players who won the European Cup the same season. So the result against Queens Park was indeed meaningless. More meaningful .. how's the building work going across the city? 😂

Johnston made his Celtic debut seven years ago and has been involved in the first-team for eight seasons, the upcoming term being his ninth. He has averaged 475 minutes for Celtic throughout those eight seasons, the equivalent of five entire games of football per season. During that period, he has been managed by Brendan Rodgers, Neil Lennon and Ange Postecoglou; yet has failed to secure a regular starting slot under any of those three managers. Trust me, any critique of Mikey Johnston’s performances for Celtic on ACSOM has nothing to do with a personal vendetta.
