Last year, I was hostpitalized a week before Christmas because I'd stopped breathing. I had a hernia that was squishing my lungs into my heart. The whole time I was stuck in a hostipal bed after my operation, I listened to this song every day. It gave me enough strength to keep looking forward. Now that I'm hearing it again- I can't help but just close my eyes and smile. Thank you for posting such a beautiful piece of art.

My uncle recently died. He was 45 years old and died from a blood clot getting to his heart. I missed 4 days of school to go to the wake and funeral. My grandmother asked me to sing this song at the funeral. I did and everyone was in tears. This is my 6th year of dance and it just so happens that this is my ballet song. My grandmother is coming up to see me dance this year again. My dance instructor is letting me dedicate my dance to my uncle. I love you Uncle Jimmy. This one's for you. R.I.P. ♥

I don't honestly know what else to say about it. 😢 it graciously describes how I feel about the world's sources of darkness including but not limited to dark human aspects like prejudice, inequality, injustice, greed, hatred, lack of natural acceptance, racism, sexism, terrorism and other bitter dark aspects that are all much worse than death itself. Why anyone in their own right minds would be given to recklessly abandon of their own volition and heaven forbid ostracize such a powerful message meaningfully expressed via song much less make other people eternally feel miserable if not subject them to torment or even worse for trying to practice any of the expectations of said message in this song at all for whatever reason is all beyond me 😞

I think it might take a "few" times a day at first. But I'd vote for it to be loud speakered from every street corner in my town. This song reminds me of my dog Willy who came on base looking for me a month after I left on deployment to the Persian Gulf. My wife was following him he cut between two buildings and by the time she drove around he had vanished. I got a letter a week later it felt like my guts where being ripped out every day for the next 6 month till I got home I have never felt so helpless and destroyed. I had him from a month old he was 4 years old when he vanished.
