I bought the smaller "Mother" bag a few years ago and received the same personal attention. Owner called me personally just as he did you and I was floored! Thanks for the review.

I have that same bag and canteen kit. Really like it and Mike was excellent to work with. I live 30 minutes from the Landsford Canal. Beautiful place. It is cool to see the Bald Eagles flying around. Great review. Thank you!

Nice canteen set, Sir. Thank You for the video, and Your service, if You’re a veteran. I’m a Norwegian veteran, serving as an Artillerist in the Norwegian Army(M-109, M-101), and in the UN-System, in Lebanon and Bosnia. As a combat engineer in Lebanon, and heavy truckdriver in Bosnia.

Thanks for stopping by! Yes, I'm a veteran, thank you. Thanks for your service as well. Some may find that strange being as we were in two different nation's services, but we'll just keep that secret between us! :) I was in the Bosnia area for the UN (Joint Endeavour) so we've roamed some of the same area!

@@heftyhiker5159 I was stationed in Tuzla (NORMEDCOY Field Hospital. If You were in the Area, I believe You’re stationed in Zagreb. You had a nice Mess there, Sir. Tasty and good food. I was always «on wheels». Driving between Tuzla, Zagreb, Belgrade, and Split. And some other places. We played the role, as «Sitting Ducks». Trucks, with no armour, at all. I was dismissed from My Second mission, by april ‘94, just a few Days, before My twenty-second Birthday…😉

as someone that owns a GCC i can only agree with you. It is awsome and i love mine to bits. and Mark the owner tokk the time to call me in Denmark before the order was made just to make sure everything was as I wanted it. the service and the product is 100% first class and i dare say NO one makes a better canteen carrier

👍👍👍 Nice pouch. 'Chicken'. Naah .. knowing when to 'call it a day' is not 'chicken-like' .. more being an Eagle. Fuel supply (like drinking water), 'less is never more' 😏. Having grown up and served in Southern Africa, the water part has special relevance 😁. Supporting in-country small businesses .. noble. Thanks for sharing .. take care.

Nice. I'm a big fan of canteen kit bags with chipmunk cheeks 'n loops. After I got my Heavy Cover canteen kit, I ran with a Helikon-Tex, Essentials bag because I wanted to keep debris/sand off my canteen. (hood over the top) Much less cost than a Mother's bag. But I don't have any room below the canteen kit really unless I leave a gap top to body. ~~ My long strap is a generous 2" wide and quite comfy. ~ A year or what back I saw somewhere, someone made a strap padding that of sorts widened/cushioned a strap. Something you may like if Alu. carabiner on stuffs on them loops. ie; 8" Firebox cook kit/cutting board... .."smiles" I've an old 5' Zebco telescoping rod/reel, case with space for small tackle. ~ If I waist a small pup tent...now there's an over nighter along a river. Weight of water trips me up and still rolls my eyes at filters. ...along comes; maybe I should have just done the backpack? ...somewhere in this latter it seems spontaneity fails. ~ Hey! I saw on your Firebox video that you've a Nano X case And the nylon pouch that only fits the Nano. I got one too and it's a nice clip on stash for a fishing license. ~ Well it's better than slapping ten pockets if The Man shows and asks for it...where'd I put that? (-: lol, did I say Alu carabiner clipped? ~ 8 oz of fuel is 236 mls. Not to spam you, They make a .3 liter (300 mls) fuel bottle. Trangia's .3 liter has a dandy safety spout and it has a loop to hook to so can hook outside, and save the front pouch for more oil? "fish fry" with them pans! ~ Sorry so long of comment, my bwain wandered your way. Extra due care on day trips/shot from hip over nighter. Perfect form with blades/no chance, as first aid kits get left behind. ~ Duct tape wrapped around an ointment tube of choice/paper towel is a good Wrap and back to work first aid kit. Heck, it's first aid, not last aid. ~~ I'm 6'4" too. I'm normally with at least a shoulder height staff. It's a long way down. Especially if walking logs in flooded sloughs. (-: ~ Tips me hat.

Love the ideas! There are so many things you can do, just when you think you've got it, you change something right? :)

One thing you almost never see is anything to do with toilet paper. If it goes in, it comes out. Once in awhile, someone will include a small package of sanitary wipes of some kind, but toilet paper is more in line with what may be needed. Besides, the wipes may be needed for scratches, or wounds, and ALOT of guys (or girls) may not be able to put alcohol on their butthole. Just a thought.
