Yo Fray! I ran into you at Meijer in BR last week. How could I hit you up to go fishing? I fish 2 to 3 days a week on the west side and it would be nice to have someone to go with.

Hey fray, awesome day you had!! How many eggs per bag? I'm fishing clear water btw. Smaller bag?
@FishFray6 жыл бұрын
For kings I fish big bags, from 12-20 eggs (king eggs). In clear water I'd probably fish a 10 egg bag for kings

Danmn Michigan floats and bags are all huge compared to the eastern lakes. We fish like 4-9gram floats and bags that average 4-6 king eggs. Bigger water and bigger fish out there tho, love watching the float drop

Fish Fray ahhh...as I understand them, they are foolishly considered trash fish, which is ridiculous as I think they taste great. Brother caught a bunch in Alaska two years ago, apparently they run every other year. Hitting the gulf of maine at 3am tomorrow wish me luck.

Nice vidya. Sully and I watched last night. Widsh we got that kind of King action this far up the St, Joseph. The troll doesn't get the fact that a salmon will crush skein just to do it...they don't want other fishes eggs to succeed.

There is nothing wrong with 'flossing' fish that are spawned out and about to die. And DNR stocking has more influence on salmon population, and size, than natural reproduction in the great lakes.
@matthewdieffenbach24356 жыл бұрын
According to fisheries biologists in nys the Ontario population of kings is at least %50 wild fish. I don’t know about Lake Michigan, but there is a lot of reproduction in the Ontario tribs
@grantdubridge79956 жыл бұрын
I agree about the stocking, especially on the location of where you find fish. They used to stock in the local tributary and it would be packed in the fall. Now with no stocking, no fish.
@grantdubridge79956 жыл бұрын

I think the bites were pretty obvious
@jasonmasters96536 жыл бұрын
@@FishFray looks can be deceiving, your rig, by design is to drift into a breathing Salmon's mouth. Hence mimicking a "strike". Lose the weights, lose the bead and just float the skein, let's see how many fish "bite" when they actually have to pursue your offering.
@FishFray6 жыл бұрын
It's a vertical float fishing presentation, the weight has nothing to do with flossing fish
