In this remastered video, we take a highly turbulent simulator-type thrill ride through the human body.

There’s something oddly heartbreaking about a Disney ride having a 0 minute wait in the middle of the day

everything about this ride is just... eerie... i never had the chance to ride it but it’s clear why many describe it as “disturbing” and “unsettling”.

I have very vague memories of riding this as a kid. Since I don't like blood, I practically closed my eyes for the majority of the ride.

You know, watching the preshow, It makes me wonder how the volunteer was feeling during the ride.They had to keep moving that scope around to where the ship was so they could beam us out wherever we were. The subject most likely wondered why!

Oh, I loved this ride SO MUCH as a kid. I used to drag my dad on it with me every time we went to Disney World. Honestly, I credit rides like this and Horizons for making me want to be a scientist when I grew up - so inspiring. I wish kids today had these same kind of experiences to give them a love of science.

I’d much rather go on a ride like this than something peppered in Disney/Marvel IP, EPCOT seems borderline unrecognisable today and not in a good way

So... No ones going to talk about how Star Trek that was? Like, the uniforms, the set design, it even had Leonard Nimoy.
@The-epcot-nerd
Body wars had the worst death in Epcot history. it slowly began to die because of mission space, test track and MetLife closing their sponsorship in 2001.

So empty the last few years of operation. Creepy.

I really love the vintage aesthetic of this ride. Honestly it would’ve been so school if it was themed to vintage space travel concepts. Something like A Space Odyssey
@MrEightThreeOne
So...I just want to take time to appreciate the fact that not only did you willingly record the ride through of this, but you also willingly went there in 2006 when absolutely nobody else would, AND you stopped and taped the queue show even though there was literally nobody in the line and you almost certainly would have gotten funny looks for doing that, AND you even went on a second time just to get a full recording of the side screen alongside it. I am in shock and awe of the dedication you went through to document this ride. I never got to personally go on it myself but this looks like a really neat ride that combines thrill and education very effectively. And since I've been on Star Tours, I think I have a pretty good idea of what this ride was like!

This ride was so special. Just waiting in the line, hearing the sound effects as a kid and going on it. It had that Disney magic I can’t describe.

This was the best simulator ever. The constant panicked narration combined with the extremely unpredictable movement really makes you feel helpless. I would get chills every time. At least in star tours you're dealing with enemies and an environment run by sapient beings. It's much more twisted when you're just being tempest tossed the whole time as the crew alternates from being horrified to in awe every five seconds.

I really miss the old epcot

I still remember the movement of this ride. It felt sort of disorienting because how it tried to simulate the probe reacting to the body. Something like Star Tours you could expect where to go and brace for movement.

This ride and the whole pavilion has freaked me out ever since I was a little kid, passing by the barred off pathway up to the building and leaving what was in there totally up to my imagination. Seeing this now, I almost have to laugh at the almost Tim and Eric level of acting and the hilariously shoehorned educational material. Thanks for some peace of mind!

Thank you so much for taking the time to record and post this, I know it's been many years but sometimes I get flashes of memory and look for stuff like this. I rode this as a kid in the 90s back when it had lines and I especially appreciate you recording the queue, pre-show, and other little bits - the kind of odd things I noticed as a kid like the signs and pictures really took me back. Also interesting tidbit, the actor who plays mission control in this is the admiral who gives command of Voyager to Janeway in the first episode of that show. He's done 1000 other things but when I was a kid watching voyager and then riding this ride, I remember recognizing him from that.
