Such a lovely garden. I’m always so impressed when someone can repurpose something and make it function in a new and beautiful way. I know she misses her trees lost in the recent freezes but those spaces are simply charming. I’m grateful for content creators willing to share their trials and triumphs so we can all learn from them too!

What a beautiful garden! It's incredibly inspiring to see that diving in without a detailed plan can still wield such gorgeous results!

I loved this episode. Beautiful garden. Nice to know that nearly all of us here in south central texas have been trying to adapt to one cataclysmic event after another. Love how she started a TT channel.

Usually a wet area is not a good site for a rain garden. You lucked out there that it didn't become a sinky mess. Really like the fish collage and the garden is lovely.

❤ It’s Jennie. Thanks for the kind words! As a 40 something mom that isn’t comfortable on camera it’s easy to be self critical. 🙏

@@SandAndStaple Please don't be, you're doing a tremendous job on camera and in your garden! I'm Anneke, under my husband's name on youtube, gardening in Namibia, so your garden truly inspired me!

Love your garden! I wish I could see it. I live on a similar landscape lots of clay and big lumps of limestone in Barton Hills. I still have a lot of trees despite the ice and snow so my challenge is finding enough light.

It’s Jennie. ❤ Thank you! I totally understand and appreciate that tough site condition, a lot more difficult than even just a few miles east. Gardening in central Texas is a full mind and body challenge. 😂

A lovely garden! Just one comment - I saw a few mirrors within the space. Have they been an issue for bird collisions? I always worry about our precious feathered friends. Blessings.

Did you add any sand or DG. I have a lot of clay. What a beautiful garden. Where did she get the grow stuff sign.
@SandAndStaple11 ай бұрын
It’s Jennie! No sand or DG in planting areas, but definitely DG and road base in some of the paths. Sand would make the soil problem worse. The best thing to break up heavy clay and rocky soil is organic material (compost and leaves). Happy gardening! ❤
